It will be changed next update.
Characters in this VN change their hair more frequently than Zach changes underwear.
It looks like Nyx got bored of her original(by original i say what she has in episode 1, not natural colors which are supposed to be like Erynn's) hair.
She tried something, it wasn't super popular, now she's changing it again 2(?) chapters after, kinda fumbling through colors until something satisfies her.

No, she changed it once and now she's changing the episodes after. With Ep. 14 she'll have changed the next episodes. Step by step like she said in her updates. She wasn't happy with the assets she used in the beginning and her setup wasn't up to date. Now she has the money for the assets she wants and she bought a new setup before Ep.10.5.

If Val doesn't intervene, it's John that does. And MC even yells out his name when he first shows up. Then post-fight MC and John have a brief conversation before fleeing. I can't imagine Ethan doesn't hear his voice, as he's conscious and yells after the MC about who is going to end up hurting because of what happened (Erynn).
As it's been an ongoing drama in Erynn and MC's life since they were 16 and 13 years old, respectively, I don't think it's going to disappear next chapter, and will probably drag on for a while.
- First they have to collect the evidence;
- Then get to the CEO;
- Then convince the CEO that there is a problem.
- Will the CEO accept it or try and bury it to protect his son?
- Then Ethan will likely be out for revenge of some kind. Assuming the police can even be involved, there'd have to be time for an investigation. Will his cronies just disappear into the night?
- Ethan knows where Erynn and MC live. If he figures out John's identify his home, Iris, and business will be at risk.
Should the story wrap up too quickly, it'll just become a high school and college drama. Not inherently a bad thing, but I suspect the main arc will run for many more updates.

Unlikely, the Erynn corruption storyline has been abandoned, the point where it would have made sense has long been passed, any character that would care about MC not helping Erynn already knows about it.
I really love the whole Alexis arc, especially if you stay solo with her. There's so much drama with secrets, anger, and jealousy, that crops up. Lifelong friendships evaporated. And then the MC is forced to get involved to resolve it for them. Then things return back to a new "normal" and Erynn even is happy to see how happy Lexi is, and says so. She even encourages Lexi to naturally find a pet name for MC. You do see the odd scene where there is a pang of sadness in Erynn's eyes, so you know she's not fully over it but puts it aside for her best friend. At least that's how it kind of flows in my mind.
The path I hard the hardest time on was the Elena path. Having to build up to a relationship with Layla and then leave her the night of the Heaven date was... honestly, gut-wrenching. She's such an innocent character, and to have to dump her like that hit a heart string for me. Is there a way to get onto Elena's path without having to get Layla to fall in love with the MC?

That could be used by Ethan to identify John if his brains ever crawl back into his bashed in skull.
Tipically this was more about houses and locations, girls looks may have improved with the graphical changes but the basic character templates stayed the same, including hair colors(even for Melissa until recently).
Melissa being the person who already uses colored hair makes her an easy (in universe) character to keep changing, allowing Nyx to get creative.
That and the fact that her route(this one more real world fact) that her route is still on it's infancy.
Changing the girls that people built deeper relationships and (suppousedly) stuck with their natural hair until today would create bigger backlash.
I don't know if it's intentional... but Nyx gave her the "midlife crisis" package, 40 something woman who can't stop fiddling with her hair...
Being horny and not acting on it can do that to a lady lol.
Hopefully it gets written into the story lol.
I was almost surprised Ethan didn't get tipped by something suspect, at least somewhat by either his voice or his look (it's rather distinct) when they meet at the Bar, as they have a long conversation.
The only real deviation was hidden behind an orange wig, with butt slaps, boob grabs, and neck kisses.
