The issue I had wasn't that much with her, but how she was forced onto me as a player, in my first playthrough (I only started playing this VN 2 updates ago) I had no interest in pursuing her yet, for what seemed to me like forever, she kept popping up no matter how hard I was trying to ignore her and pick negative answers.

I'll eventually try a playthrough involving her, but due to my age I tend to gravitate towards older LIs, not just in Intertwined mind you.

You'll get no pitchforks from me, different stokes for different folks. I just always try to do all paths in a game, even if i'm not into them to see their story. (I hated Quinn in BAD till i tried her path) You might change your mind or maybe not.

I'm an old stubborn mule, one of my many defects, so first impressions tend to stick with me, but I'm also a bit of an OCD completionist, so I'll have to play also her route.

But there is no Elena in this update just trying to make things with Layla has she gave the MC an ultimatum in the last update.

There's a very good chance, yes. Did you do a route without Val? I don't know if Ximena say the same thing regardless (if we didn't take the picture with Val, or if she didn't see MC on the side walk.

There's also a slight chance she would know MC because of Anders, because she seem to know him. But she would've probably made the connection right there "Ahh that's how I know you" (or something like that). But these characters aren't always the brightest (for the sake of writing a story with a lot of twist), so it's possible.

My money is also on Ximena-Valeria, especially since every renders of Val mom look exactly like her.

You see how many steps you have to take for it not to be Zane. Zane would have to assume he's getting lucky that night brag to a friend that he's going on a date somewhere where Ethan has to be, and buy a motel room super early ( given their age, I doubt it's an overnight stay), have Ethan use his connections to get into said motel room and set up a camera.
It makes more sense for Zane to be involved in whatever is happening. Whether or not he was a willing participant is debatable.

I think you're overthinking this. I can't remember if it's been mentioned at all, but where was the tape recorded? Did they say it was a motel room? My thought is that Ethan just happened upon it by chance - the way he was, it wouldn't surprise me if he was keeping a close eye on Erynn, potentially even stalking her. He could easily have just been outside a bedroom window filming them on his phone. I certainly don't think however it went down that there was a camera set up in advance...

Zane was definitely involved, but probably only in the sex part. It's very easy for him to have had just as much knowledge of the filming part as Erynn did.

While that doesn't mean anything and Ethan could of lied and betrayed him if he was involved. But my gut tells me if he was involved he wouldn't of broken up with her over Prom but rather help Ethan and get a "turn" with her once in awhile.

Yeah, I definitely agree - I don't think Zane was involved (except for being the other one on the tape). I guess that he's as much a victim as Erynn, just that he's not had it used against him, and potentially doesn't even know about it at all.

Not sure how you can say that Val is "forced" on to the player, far from it IMO. To even get on to her path romantically you have to make every single positive choice with her on the training camp trip, otherwise they are just friends. Or is it that you have an issue even being friends with her?

I think that's what he wrote but I'm not getting it. If you're just friends with her she barely has any screentime at all, and no real exclusive scenes with her either, they are just meeting in a group setting like at school. Definitely not forced to hang out with her too much.

So now wherever they were having sex they were doing it with the shades up? Perhaps that happened, all Im saying is for that sex tape to have been made by Ethan (or his goons), a lot of things out of the ordinary had to go right.

I think an important detail is that Ethan has "a guy" in addition to his basic minions.
Just like in this latest episode where Zach tells Ethan who John actually is and he makes a call to his guy to get John's info.
Previously he made the same call for "Kyle Johnson" but hit nothing.

A person like that is perfectly suited to find out where they were headed and film everything, have him tail them both, find out the places Zane could've taken her, if he recently has made hotel reservations...
All this without Ethan even needing to get his hands dirty.

This bit could be true, but given other things i don't think things are leaning this way.

Agree, to get with her you have to ignore one of the characters that got most early content in Layla.
When she actually starts screen time in the training camp(she just has a couple of cameos before) players might be already heavily invested into Layla(i know i was).

How would Nikki/Cara find that out? Mira is in Alvarado, Nikki/Cara in Riverside. A two hours drive away. They don't know Mira.
Yeah, but that's her problem, not ours. See, Nyx just made a release with 7200 renders made in 10 months with a playtime for hours, when you play it properly. Show me another dev using ONE system for coding, posing, and rendering with that output in that time. Personally I think we as players have nothing to complain about.

I’ve only seen a minor slip up like Alexis saying she “unfortunately” knows the MC with the Lakeyn restaurant scene. When she shouldn’t say that. (Or acted amicably in the scene just before that)

keeping track of all that can’t be easy. And many devs struggle with just that. Yet Nyx is doing it at a scale and width we don’t see in any other game.

there are other AVNs with even more branching though. Not saying this one is "easy" to maintain, but there are other devs who do a more complex work in that regard. Just off the top of my head, you have ORS, Jury, DLC, u4ia that has comparable or more branching than Intertwined.
