Correct, she is...but she is the holy grail...the golden chalice...Nyx will drag her out for as long as she can.
She's A primary Li but not the only Primary Li there is also Layla, and Lexi. Not sure about the other yet I'm hoping for Elena and Val to be primary as well.

Val got promoted it seems from side Character to romanceable but that will tell the next update.

The story forces you to have her close to you but you can ignore her romantically speaking.

The game doesn't enforce a main LI, you can chose whomever you want.
Erynn is one of the more integral ones to the story.
She plays the childhood friend/crush role, has unresolved issues with the MC(is the primary reason the MC moved out of town years before the game starts) and her personal path involves "saving the princess" from the evil villain.
To varying degrees the others can be simpler, girl thinks you are kinda hot>>>>flirting.

One would think because she's the co-star, however the only way to get the full story in one playthrough is to be with lexi. So I'm still sticking to this ultimately being lexi's story with erynn being your bro.
In my mind it's Yes and No. She's one of the main LIs yes. But if you go in terms of how long the MC has known Erynn, then Alexis is also right there as her and Erynn were best friends during school. And the MC was friends with Erynn but not Ethan. Not a lot is explained about MC relationship with Alexis at the time.
To me, it's a toss-up between who the main LI should be, based on the given flashback:

True, you have to be "GET AWAY FROM ME" repeatedly for her to take a hint.
I guess this puts her into "starts flirting(and more) immediately" category.
I still think drowning Alexis is the only way to be safe she won't comeback again.
Maybe i can be talked into pushing her infront of a bus...

For the longest time, I had a completely different idea of this game because of that. I kept equating it to Become a Rock Star in my head.
