Who could it be? It's someone you are gonna meet while running... Park or Beach? The schoolgirls should be having class... it can be someone like Lakeyin who doesn't have much to do... you meet her at the beach and things escalate.
Maybe Ximena likes to run in the park/beach.

I think it may be simpler, like e.g. it's training scene with Tori and the MC automatically either agrees to fuck her or turns her down based on whether they already fucked before, or something like that. Not someone else showing up. I guess one of these paths have a more positive outcome on how the relay race goes, than the other? Guess we'll see.

edit: alternatively, it could be some development with (solo) Elena when training with Layla, and the "you gotta make 'bad' choice for better outcome" would be referring to how MC crushes Layla's feelings to get on that path? idk.

Progress Update - Episode 15

Probably the last progress update of the year, since I'll be gone from next week until the new year.
The Valeria scene has been finished. I'm working on the last small scenes to finish the first day. One of the scenes is the new scene I talked about a little while ago. I wasn't sure if I would include it or not, but I decided I would. It's the MC goes to the movies scene if you aren't on the Valeria or the other character's path. Then there will be another small scene, which is a conflict with a certain character. And the last scene of the first day is actually an Ethan scene, for if you decided not to help Erynn with the blackmail plot. Since the majority of the blackmail storyline has been scrapped, which included the not helping Erynn scene, all scenes now need to get together at a certain point so everything will have the same ending instead of multiple endings. Probably a short phone call scene, similar to the one you've already seen in episode 14. Or maybe I should just remove the choice of helping or not helping Erynn and automatically make you help her. Would save me some time... We'll see.
Let's start talking about day 2 and what's about to happen there. First there will be 2 options to where MC will train for the relay race (If he's still allowed to participate that is. But since he doesn't know the answer he trains for it nevertheless). Depending where you go (Will be decided by a previous choice), MC will meet a certain character at each spot. Both spots will be completely different. One will be longer than the other because of intertwining paths.
In the afternoon, MC will meet up with the partner he's assigned to work on the geography project with. But, there's also a possibility MC won't be helping (This is also due to previous choices.)
Another scene in the afternoon is ... Yeah, I'm not going to talk about this one either. It's gonna be very different than usual. Some will like it, some won't. It has to do with MC, though, and maybe some of you will be able to guess it.
MC will also go to John's garage to get the repaired car and talk about some other stuff.
Lastly, there will be a scene which starts the end of the blackmail plot. Of course, I won't be talking about what's happening there. But this episode will come with a warning, which I will talk about closer to release.
What I will warn you about already, though, is that there will be a point in one of the MC training scenes where it looks like you don't have a choice to a certain outcome. Trust me, you had a choice already, multiple actually but it's not black or white. Sometimes you need to do something you don't want to do, and sometimes the "bad" option will be the better option in the long run. So, stop always taking the option which gives you points and trust your gut feeling.
Keep in mind. Things can always change a bit while I work on scenes. Some things can be scrapped, but I can also add a new scene to it.
That's it for now. I probably will start working on day 2 in the new year. I might be able to finish day 1 in a few days before I'm off to my vacation.

On other topics... I would not like the option of not helping Erynn removed, i never take this option... but i'm curious on how fucked up things end up if you do.
The movie scene still sounds like a waste of time to me... it's completely fine to let the MC stay home and go to sleep if there isn't anything interesting to do.

It's gonna be a packed update, but we are still far away from playing it.

I agree that while I never do it myself, let people choose to not help Erynn. Though I do understand why it would be easier for Nyx to make it canon, to change it now wouldn't be good IMO. Especially since it's tied to the Melissa scene.

Dani is my number 1 suspect to be in the geography scene, be the geography partner.

Not sure who could be running during the morning (in theory Dani should be in school, she isn't suspended like the MC).
I also think we made 0 choices about Dani, we never flirted, got the option to say she's sexy(i would've taken it ), we just got told her name and backstory by Darryl.

Nyx is very mysterious about the competing event vs Val date.
It's either Erynn or the Monroe BBQ, turning down Val is probably gonna end it for good this time.
If you chose Val over Erynn for beach, Erynn is already much colder and already feels derailed.

Brooke is possible, she looks like a person who goes out to run in the morning.
When she leaves work she's kind in athletic gear.
And we had many flirting choices with her before(i took them all).

Tori could be based on you selecting her to be on the team over Layla.

TBH i don't feel like this is a choice that adds anything to the game. I mean, it's a "choice" that has clearly the better path and one that just gets everyone pissed off at the MC, with nothing to gain for it. That's not a choice, that's a blatantly obvious pit in the ground with a "Here's a pit in the ground if you want to jump in and break your neck" sign next to it.

It's like choosing to peek on girls with Zach. There're only negative consequences and Zach is the same dipshit towards the MC no matter what.

I think V15 will set the table and V16 will be the final confrontation...
I don't have proof, i just feel it's gonna be like that.

Nyx says this after she enumerates the things MC will do day 2, go for a run, geography paper, grab mom's car from John...
V15 will be the beginning of the end.
V16 will be the proper ending.

Well the not helping Erynn choice is also activated if you get caught dating both her and Lexi, it default goes to that as Erynn ignores the MC for the rest of the game. So I think she needs to keep it to an extent, unless she also removes the getting caught scene, which I doubt.
Like I said I played a save a long while back where I wasn't helping Erynn and it was actually nice not having to deal with Ethan or any of that bullshit. I'm more on the pro choice side, even if I can understand why it would make Nyx's life easier.
