Do you guys just skip all the scenes where it's girls that you're not on their path/not interested in, but you still have to hang out with them/bit of forced drama?

I find it difficult not to. How do you do it?
I love them all honestly, so it's easy for me. Obviously I have my favourites, like everyone else. One that I do tend to skip through is the Iris flashback scene, I don't care much for flashbacks in general. I prefer to focus on the present where you have choices.

The thing I struggle with is being on a friends only path with a girl when I was just on her romantic path the run before. But then I feel that way in most non-harem VN's.

side question, how do I thread the needle and be with Alexis and also mess around a bit with Melissa (NOT A THREESOME, i mean solo Alexis)? Is that possible?

edit: and yea, flashbacks drive me crazy for the most part. Feel like they go on for WAY too long in this game.

Yeah you can be on the Alexis path and have the Melissa scene (please don't be another dream!).
Just get points with Melissa whenever you can and help Erynn with Ethan. Also allow Emily to go out with John.
Being on the Alexis path does block the scene with Iris at the garage, she's the only one that does block it. Iris won't cross that line yet if you're with Lexi, but we will see if it stays that way.

if I do that I drop the game. I don't skip stuff I find boring or don't care I read everything cause otherwise what is the point in playing an AVN.

If you give it a shot and pay attention you might find out that they are more interesting than you innitially thought.
This game is very rich in small details, small details in dialogue, small details that only appear in certain routes...
Even hints that the girls aren't telling you the full story you, girls saying something but feeling something else.
It's very rewarding if you keep an open mind and pay attention to these things.

After you've played some scenes once or twice, feel like you absorbed the essential info, it makes some sense to just CTRL through.
Though sometimes i still go slow to see if i missed something.

I guess, I mean...The whole school vacation thing feels completely pointless if you're not into any of the girls there. the daily calls with Alexis is all I really cared about. The small details really don't mean much to me if I don't care at all about the girl.

And the flashbacks with Iris, holy shit, no need to be that long. I get it, I had a relationship with her, no need to belabor the point.

I guess I was just hoping for more of an actual main story other than the Erynn show. At least I have Alexis, and I can safely stop this game with her having a great solo path.

This may be pointless to say as you seem to have made up your mind, but you should give the other girls romantic paths a try at some point. You don't fully experience the characters or the game until you do. A friendship path and a romantic path can really be night and day in this.
Though I might suggest waiting until the next update, because that is going to break everyone's saves.

As others have said, the story holds my interest enough to prevent it being an issue for me. The way I play is I load up my favourite save first (I have one for each path/LI I estimate has a "started" path) - this might be my favourite girl, or the one that I'm most anticipating certain content for - for instance, last time it was Alexis because of the cliffhanger, and I expected if there was any path with bespoke content around that, it would be her path. Once I've played that path fully, I go to my next favourite, and I use the "skip" (not "skip unseen") function to move past anything I've already seen, so it automatically stops where there's something I've not yet seen, even if it's only a single render or line of dialogue different.

I ended up with around 20–25 routes that interest me. You can play just one route, but then the whole story feels shallow. If you try a route with a girl you’re not that interested in, it actually gives you a different perspective and experience of the whole environment.
The best example is probably the Alexis and Erynn duo. If you’re on a solo Alexis route, Erynn is portrayed differently. But if you try to gain more Erynn points while on Alexis’s route, you start seeing additional details and different sides of things.
So it’s definitely worth looking at and playing through multiple routes.

someone correct me if im wrong, but the only alexis blocks are elena, mckayla, Iris and Val. You can romance anybody else while dating her
She fully blocks Layla and Elena.
Val can be combined but it's on shaky ground and might explode any second(you can also be deep on the Alexis path and simply dump her for Val).

Iris and Erynn are "special" i would say, you can't openly date them while on the Alexis path... but the desire is still there, high possibility of future cheating or conflict :KEK:

And don't try to make this a "but it's different because he asks Ethan!" argument. Zach doesn't know what sort of a person Ethan is. From his PoV he's basically doing the same thing he did with MC -- asked a friend for his help to get a girl. And may i remind, the MC wasn't all, "eeeew get away you freak only a completely amoral person would ask for such thing and think of a girl as something to get!" but instead cooperated, both providing advice and orchestrating a situation during the drinking game where Val could potentially interact with Zach.
Wouldn't the MC helping Zach with the drinking game, in spite of all of the the BS Zach already managed to pull at that point, make the MC a good friend to Zach?

Zach never did any equivalent action to the MC.

Progress Update - Episode 15

Happy New Year!

I'm back and ready to continue working on this large episode...
Not much yet to communicate other than day 1 is completely finished. All the renders are done, and 80% of the coding is done. The last 20% is for when day 2 is ready, which I started working on this week. While on vacation, I read through the script for day 2 and decided to add one extra scene to the scenes I mentioned in the last progress update. It's somewhat of a throwback scene to an older episode.
I started working on the first training scene. MC decided to go train at the pier this time, since mostly it's in the park, and I wanted to switch it up. He'll meet a certain character there. Whether it's a good or bad meeting depends on the choices you made.
I also restarted working on the rerendering of episode 4. I call it rerendering, but I should call it a complete remake at this point. I'm still working on the Riverside flashback, and it already has twice the number of renders and twice the amount of script. Lots of scenes have been extended, and new scenes have been added. Cara's personality has changed a little. She isn't as shy anymore as she used to be, and I think she's more fun this way. The script has been rewritten/improved. There is definitely a lot of new stuff to discover. Also, a big change in the script is the scene between MC and Nikki at the gym, where, in the old script, they have sex for the first time. I never liked it. That scene will still be there, but it won't be their first time. Their first time won't be in the game (I might add it in a future episode as a flashback). Lots of other changes too.
That's it for now.
