I don't think that's what was said. The way I read it at least, the "evil" at the end is telling you that Nyx is being evil, hence the italics. Maybe she doesn't like using emojis or something. Try it like this:

So either some main interests are only there to ruin relationships (doesn't feel right, because why would they be main interests is that's all they're there for?) or some characters are there to ruin relationships with the main interests (more likely, thinking of Miri and Julia as good examples).

I read that as characters that are not Main Love Interest may or may not be there to ruin relationships.

Unless Val looks like her, perhaps and that's part of what makes it awkward. But I'm not going to beat a dead horse, it was just a random thought that popped up in my sleep-deprived brain. I just want the (possibly) doomed girl to survive long enough to join my mini harem with Layla and Elena. Because that constellation is canon, right? Right...

Yeah I get you I just only even brought it up as I was surprised to Learn Alexis is also a self insert in some shape or form still not a full one like Valeria

That's how I read it, too. It makes sense for it to be that way as well, since we've already interacted with two characters who most of us suspect of being danger fucks.

That makes sense... i think the wishful thinking on my part made me read that wrong.

I still think it would be a good idea if not outright evil they got into "morally dubious" territory and less squeaky clean.

In early interviews(years ago), she said Alexis was a character that she related a lot but came up short of saying self insert.
And then we got Valeria and everyone left that behind...

I've download the full 0.13.2 zip file instead of using the patches, and try to get through this part and it still timesout and becomes unresponsive. please help

Play on mobile, sometimes crashes happened even with the higher espectations.

If Nyx does have an issue with her self-insert being an LI, then why put a self-insert in the game or make her even an option?
She made that decision, noone else. Given all of the content we already got at the beach with Val, giving her a full lewd scene isn't that much of a stretch.

Honestly that's a pretty good guess because Nyx said you can't prevent it , it will always happen no matter what. So no choice will matter for the deaths.

Guaranteed by who? I think that it makes the most sense, especially because you can't do anything to prevent it. Ethan and Zach are assholes no matter what choices you make in the game.
Maybe not dramatic enough for you but certainly satisfying IMO, to see those fuckers burn to death in a car crash.

I'm not ruling Val out till I see the next update or 2 but I also kind of don't think she will die either. Not because she will lose subs and fans because of it. I just have a gut feeling also with the character deveolopment we just had it's hard for me to see it personally. Unless Nyx just wants to be the ultimate troll to build something up just to tear it down lol. But to me it would feel weird to build a character up that much and give some damn good character building like we had in the last update just to kill her off unless it happens basically right when the game is over.
