So anyone else run into a continuity problem on the start of the Melissa "solo path"?
After the really weird Ethan lewd scene, it jumps back to MC and Emily.
The code snippet for that scene is below. No IF or other logic of any kind. So I guess the only way the story makes sense is if Emily did go on the date with John?

- MC goes to Melissa's when Emily asks him to check up on her.
- Note: In this playthrough, MC asked Emily not to date John and she did not.
- MC talks to Emily about what happened to him at school.
- Conversation changes to Melissa and John event. The MC says that he saw Melissa looked mad at Emily. She then brings up that she wasn't happy that Emily slept with John.

I am legitimately surprised nobody has speculated this yet, at least out loud:
The Mel scene was a dream and the MC is in bed with her. Doesn't anyone remember at camp when Zach thought he had sex with Elena because they were drunk and went to sleep in the same bed? Why wouldn't Nyx recycle that for MC and Melissa? Especially since there aren't any other witnesses who could clear up the misunderstanding? Think of all the drama that "did we or didn't we" could create, forcing both characters to confront their feelings and urges about one another!
Also, I'm a little disappointed that Nyx is making so many changes to her plans just because people are tired of the blackmail plotline. I'd rather have her write the story she wants to write, but it's understandable that she feels pressure when her income depends on people continuing to support the game.

yep same, will probably be hotfixed later, but iirc Nyx takes some time off after updates
I loved this game back then but Nyx forcing Emily/Santi to not be scumbags (they are) but tragics figures that had no other choice (they had) and trying to retcon and change narratives to fit that idea made me sour to the entire game.
I bet if you hate and I mean HATE them the entire narrative will turn into that you are a bad person and a reason for the LI to leave you.

It's meant to have more scenes and development in the future.
Plus some small differences Alexis acts flirty when you go to their house see Layla.

Yeah that's the thing it sucks cause I don't like it when devs completely change their vision. Yet it kind is better for the game overall imo. But there is hope we will see it after the game is done cause sounds like there could be enough interest in a directors cut where she might do it the way she intended it.

I understand the logic you're trying to say... However, there's a huge difference between the two versions... There was no chemistry between Zach and Elena, and especially no sexual dream between either of them... There's been hellish chemistry between Melissa and MC since the beginning of the game, and Melissa has already had two dream versions with MC... "Did we do it or didn't we do it" can now be a really good question after waking up, and if MC says yes, then the big conversation can come about which possible solo route to break because of Melissa...
And now just my opinion: Yes it happened, since MC is there in bed, and since they were drunk, Melissa at first thinks she was dreaming again... But then look at her look when she realizes she's not alone in bed...
However, if Nyx deceives Melissa fans again, in my opinion it would be a big mistake, since Melissa is an official LI, and it was time to start her real route...

When Emily buys MC a motorbike and they talk about John, you are given the choice to say yes or no to a potential date...
Nyx said there will be a massive NTR scene with Val in the future and people aren't ready yet for that Scene. For me personally I cannot wait for it.

Im not one of those people that usually despise NTR in scenes but at the very least, i hope its not only preventable but also not stupid like self sacrifice or some shit.

pretty sure it's dropped because how all the Ethan blackmail stuff got scrapped to end it sooner. I think Nyx mentioned how in her version if she does the directors cut after the game is done. One of the LI can cheat on you. Which probably means that was Val tho i can see argument with Erynn too cause of Zane
