The Lucas drama is still ongoing. Thats totally who stole Layla's hoodie. Probably smelling it at home like a creep.

I'll be honest, he seems like a better enemy than Ethan.

It's all good Lucas never leaves the park, he lives there like a homeless person. Though I do have a feeling that he may actually be who kicked/pushed over the MC's bike at school. We are blaming Zach as he's the obvious choice when in fact it was Lucas, especially after seeing the MC with Layla in the morning.

When I saw the "Suspect Zach" choice, I also thought, this feels like a Nyx swerve/twist. It's probably Lucas. He didn't like the MC revving his bike and scaring his beloved Layla.

Ya'know, the Zane thing has been left lingering ever since she shared what happen between them back then.
Exactly what all did Zane have part in, how much did he play into every thing and .. what's he been doing all this time?
At some point there 'Should' be some kinda closure on the Zane topic between Erynn and MC "You weren't there for me".

With the whole Prom fiasco let alone any contact they may have had in any chance of Erynn and Zane running into each other.
Between eh, any time through EP5-EP11 (have no clue what's been said or done ever since, stopped back then).
However, for those interested in a pure Erynn run would be more inclined to... to WTH happen with all's been said and done.

On a side note, should there be a time where player gets chance to beat the ever love'n hell out of Zack.
May have to buy another copy just to enjoy the beating (and creating a screen saver of it to add to my collection).
Some things are well worth the money!

EDIT: Also, "by some miracle"? Does Val have death flags I missed? Yeah, Ethan confronted her, but it doesn't seem to have really rattled her. She seemed more upset about having to dump Zach as friend than anything Ethan said to her.

it's kinda a meme I'm doing at this point just to trigger some people ( ), but there is "logic" behind it too. Val is supposed to be a Nyx self-insert, who better to off in the game? Also the "I'll be fine. Famous last words" bit after her first Ethan confrontation in EP9 (I think?) seem a bit foreshadowy.

She killed off a very minor side side lady character, Rachel the flight attendant. She used her as a cliff hanger, making players think the body in the alleyway was one of the main ladies. That got the thread talking (and fighting) for months. But we've all figured out several years later into this thread that Nyx's cliffhangers are usually anti-climactic. She uses very sensationalist cliffhangers that usually lead nowhere but bring a lot of attention to her game. She did throw us a curve ball with this latest update's cliff hanger though since she realized we had figured out her tells.

I'm out of reactions too. It was too good to be true that you guys started discussing Lucas, but predictably, no one cares about Lucas hahah. He went from zombie rocker in his original form to Andres's illegitimate son in the redone chapters.

I agree that the Zane thing needs some closure. All we have so far is a guy with his face hidden - who is definitely Zane - approaching Erynn in the beach parking lot after our beach date with her. There will be more drama developments here once Erynn starts doing her teaching internship at the MC's school where Zane is also teaching.

Nyx hasn't gifted us yet with a beat up Zach scene on the level of Ethan alley ground-and-pound, Ethan Head Bang Fatality and Ethan Buff Josy nut crusher scene.

Did any of you guys pick Tori for the race? I went with Tori for my Nikki and Valeria saves. Just because I think thats actually gonna be the way to win. Since Layla is slower.

No Tori for me. If you choose Tori you lose the relay period.
She does not work well with others in any setting.
She may be talented, but only alone with no care for others.

I personally think it will come out that Tori said MC punched Zach, however Gabi will for some reason name Daryl as the one who said it.

This would create another choice point to lose the relay race(which I could see Nyx doing) based on if MC confronts Daryl with either aggression(this killing the rapport they started to build) or "hear him out" type deal.

It also creates another drama point for Gabbi bc of jealousy towards Layla(depending if you are on her path or not).
MC, Darryl, Val and Layla can be winners provided the drama doesn't get in the way.(Would also be a great way to see if breaking Layla heart would negatively impact the race or if you have enough points to still win.)

Layla being the slowest also isn't so bad, since MC has been around she has trained more and gotten better than in the past.

Honestly I kind of question if anyone is gonna die with Nyx finishing the blackmail plot up soon

I'd prefer no one dies, because it doesn't add to the drama unless we want to go down a nuclear scenario.
I don't believe that would happen given how Nyx has gone back and changed much smaller things that have less impact.
While I get those changes are totally unrelated, it shows an aversion to going down roads that would lock in storytelling points which is why I don't see Ethan "purposely" killing someone.
His henchman or through his own inaction/not being attentive though, I could totally see. Even from Zach this is possible I think.

EDIT: Has Nyx said that the death(s) are gonna come from the main cast? Thinking about it, it could just be something like Ethan dying. Or one of his totally-not-hookers. Maybe, fraying at the edges and cracked out, Ethan overdoses. Bunch of ways it could play out, really.

Also, I was thinking even if it is gonna come from the main cast, it might not even be related to any of the drama. Like, Nyx plays into our expectations, and everyone comes out safe from the Ethan drama. But then BAM! the episode ends with someone being hit by a drunk driver or something. Or a heart attack. Shit, I could see Andres dying from a heart attack and having some emotional last words with MC. Some "mundane" deaths.

Like I said I have the bad feeling that Val may actually tell Zach what happened to her with Ethan before she tells the MC. In an attempt to get Zach to open his eyes to who his new bestie is.
She did say that she wanted to have one last talk with Zach before not bothering with him again. I can see a scene where a crying Zach realises what a huge mistake he has made and Val ends up feeling sorry for him. So tries to build bridges between them. Could even result in a points loss with her if the player refuses to even speak with Zach.

god I hate this but it seems like it would happen
