There isn't much with the Riverside girls crossing with the girls you are dating in town.
Some (very few)internal thoughts here and there, Nathan (lightly)scolds you for doing it... and that's it.
Emily will also know about you "double(triple, quadruple) dealing" and won't say a thing.

You can promise to break up with your current GF(be it Alexis or Layla) during the visit, but you have no actual options to fulfill this promise.
Erynn in particular even meets the sisters, yet her radar is completely dead when the MC announces he's going out of town.
Another area that Nyx pretty much "forgot" to add interactions/options.

Definitely an area that the new rebooted script should improve.
I think Nyx should improve it but not remove any potential drama that's going to come from Nikki and Cara coming to Madison Springs, as I'm looking forward to that.
The Riverside girls have been a fun addition to many runs for many people. I would rather keep that and then have a dramatic confrontation when it's discovered what the MC has been up to. I know that we had a little of that already with Mira, but that wasn't nearly enough IMO, just a phone chat.

Ah, for sure. But for example, if you choose the 'we need to talk' option after hugging Nikki (while in relationship with Alexis), the MC auto applies lotion to her bazookas at the beach (he could just not go to those areas), and he's pretty fine with it. That's why I was confused if this is an oversight or the game treats the relationship with Alexis as not exclusive yet.
Oh it's definitely serious and exclusive, you can also tell Alexis about your "ex-GF" being in town and she's definitely worried(with good reason ).
You can make the MC tell Nikki(Cara is similar) about the girl he's been hooking with in town or "forget" to say anything.
If you do tell Nikki, right when she's about to leave Nikki will warn that you need to end things with "the other girl" right away...
Not long after that you go see Alexis without any options to tell her it's over between you guys, the date also goes on uninterrupted.

I think Nyx should give us the OPTION to clean things up, give you an option to pull out of whatever relationship you innitiated and prioritize the Riverside sisters.
And also an option to end Riverside for whatever you have going on in MS.

But it's really important that she also keeps the option of being an unrepentant manwhore fucking every chick that moves without even a spec of guilt :ROFLMAO:

Their arrival in town both excites and fills me with dread :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, the MC told Alexis about her arrival, but he's still exchanging kisses and dubious touches left and right with Nikki even after the 'we need to talk' option. Like, I really need to go out of my way for the MC to not bust a fat nut on her :KEK: But hey, if the game is fine with it (it does not treat these as cheating), so am I :HideThePain:

What I fear is Nyx putting up road blocks like she's potentially planning with Layla and Erynn, I don't want that.
I like the fuckboy illusion of security that you can feel in this sometimes. At the moment you can do a run where you're dating Layla, Erynn, Nikki or Cara and maybe Gabi and Melissa thrown in for good measure and be pretty much drama free.
Instead of Nyx being like "No, sorry you can't do that anymore, I'm going to force you to choose." I would rather she let the player feel like he's getting away with fucking around and then BAM! You get found out, big confrontation and the player is left feeling like shit.
I did like how Nyx added the break up with Lexi for Val scene so there could be more of that.

I think you have one option to break with Nikki for Alexis(Cara and Layla also similar), after that the game acts as if you are fully single.
And you have no options to break with Alexis/Layla because you like Nikki/Cara more, once they leave town they are completely forgotten.

Yes, this would be terrible.
I think options to clean things up should be given, but also keep the option of being a bastard manwhore
This game is interesting because it can be a romantic story, but it also can be about a fuckboy :ROFLMAO:
Sanitzing things, forcing choices or becoming a too preachy about mawhoring would kill the fun.

The way Val vs Alexis is handled is just about perfect in my book, it gives you the option to end things on either side...
But it also gives you the option to go YOLO and lie to both girls.

I don't think Layla-Erynn should be removed either, i think scenes that account for it should be added.
Make the girls aware of something going on and jealous of each other...
Give options of pulling out (no not that type of pulling out  ) but also give options of keep trying our luck.

So, the relationship with Alexis isn't 'exclusive' in this section of the story? The Layla and Erryn stuff is certainly understandable as red lines for Alexis, but the impression I have is that the game does not treat the MC and Nikki stuff (once she arrives at his home) as cheating. Maybe they will have said talk later. I don't know. The writing here has been ambiguous. Like I said, the MC tells Nikki he's seeing someone, and she's fine and so is him, they are both kissing and even banging if you allow it. The MC does not seem worried about Alexis either, unlike other combos.

To my understanding it is exclusive, once the "i dare you to be my GF" scene happens for me they are exclusive.
Once the word GF is declared>exclusivity, that's how i think.
And the "dare you to be my GF" scene happens before you embark for training camp.

I don't think anything has changed in the Alexis relationship since Nikki's visit and now, but the Val vs Alexis situation is treated like a pressing matter and handled with a lot more seriousness in comparison.
We are led to believe that Alexis won't be "cool" if she finds out about Val... and we haven't even given Val any creampies yet , just a few kisses.
No way she should be Ok with the MC+Nikki.
It's definitely cheating as far as i'm concerned(and i expect the girls to react the same), you just haven't been caught yet.

From Nikki's side, she definitely expects fidelity.
She breaks up with you if she finds out about Mira, it makes no sense for her to be cool with you fucking Alexis, Layla, Iris...

Oh, true. I had forgotten about the dare thing, it does make sense, although I had possibly forgotten about it as said status isn't mentioned very often, at least not until where I'm at in the game by now.

I had skipped through the game to see if there was any fallout over the Nikki visit, and I don't think there's any. The MC does try to hide himself once he spots Alexis and Erynn hanging out so maybe that's the game telling you what it is. The MC still doesn't reflect about the situation (at least I haven't seen it yet).

And yeah, Alexis was clearly jealous at the restaurant.

But Nikki does know that MC is seeing someone, he tells her as much and later she does as well before leaving.

And I checked again. So, if you hug her once she arrives and if you pick the 'we need to talk' option the second time it appears, Nikki's path remains open, and she's also fully aware that the MC is seeing someone. From here, you have the option to ignore every dialogue that leads to actual sex, but they kiss from time to time and touch each other in horny ways. Yet, the MC does not stop to think about what he could be doing to Alexis because 1) Could be an oversight. 2) The game does not consider it as cheating because they are not exclusive yet. Finally, 3) the MC is a dumb fuck, which seems the likely option all things considered.

But again, why there isn't a line where he's like “Alexis won't like this” while Nikki is staying over and they are fooling around is beyond me.

My larp process, replaying the scene, was having Nikki stay over for a few days because she's clearly upset, but ignore her advances, but the game assumes you don't want to ignore her if you go Hug - > we need to talk. Meaning, you need to send her away the day she arrives. Both of them fooling around after the second "we need to talk" feels a bit forced on the MC, unless you assume his mindset is that he's not exclusive with anyone yet, which led me to discuss this here.

So, it seems like a weirdly designed branch where the agency is taken from the MC. Thankfully, this save won't matter as the update will require a restart, but it had me thinking on the whole exclusivity thing due to the way the branch was set up.

And yeah, I saw the Val dilemma while skipping it. The difference here is night and day, the MC does acknowledge what he's doing, and the game gives him clear options as to how to deal with it (unlike Nikki, at least if you do the war crime of hugging her). This will be hard to do once I actually reach that bit, Valeria is great.

As of the current version there's zero consequences to comboing Alexis and Nikki, they simply haven't found out about your actions yet.
This can easily change the next time Nikki comes to visit, this is what Justaphase was talking about, it makes me giddy and dread it at same time.

But Nikki does know that MC is seeing someone, he tells her as much as later she does as well before leaving.

If you warn her about Alexis, Nikki knows that the MC is/was seeing someone, but before stepping into the plane to go home she makes it abundantly clear that this other relationship you have "must end", she expects loyalty going forward, she's not gonna tolerate, she's not gonna share.
Aside from the first conversation with Nikki the game basically forgets about Alexis during the Nikki scenes, it remembers right before she gets on the plane.

I think it's half oversight and half the MC just enjoying his time with Nikki, not even thinking about his other GF.
A simple "what i'm gonna do about Alexis?" thrown in as an internal thought would've helped already.

I honestly don't consider number 2 valid because to me it's definitely cheating.
At the restaurant he definitely doesn't want Alexis to see him with Nikki, and he also asks Erynn not to tell Alexis.

My larp process, replaying the scene, was having Nikki stay over for a few days because she's clearly upset, but ignore her advances, but the game assumes you don't want to ignore her if you go Hug - > we need to talk. Yeah, the game expects you to toss Nikki out right away, if you don't it kinda locks you in a relationship...
Maybe it would be more reasonable giving more choices to avoid her after the first conversation, and this would long term lead to ending the relationship, she goes home still a friend but no longer thinking you are BF and GF.

But yeah right now you are suppoused to give Nikki the bad news right upfront.
It's still better than what happens on the Alexis side, where there are 0 options to end things, you are 100% stuck with her.
And the MC doesn't think about his GF Nikki after she leaves town either.

The Val scene is handled way better, the MC knows full well what's at stake and is given clear choices to do what he wants, do you want Val? Do you want Alexis? Or are you feeling brave(and stupid :ROFLMAO:)?
It's a clear decision that everyone combining them gets to make.

In Nikki-Alexis things just keep rolling and there's no emergency brakes...

I guess there's a bright side on this save being useless going forward :p

I’ve just completed my first playthrough of the current version, and I have to say, it’s pretty damn good overall. The sheer amount of content is truly admirable. While some storylines aren't as developed as others, they all add depth to the world.

I focused on Alexis for this run, though the other love interests were also compelling, almost too compelling. If I had to rank my top LIs, it would look something like this:

1 - Alexis / Valeria
2 - Erynn
3 - Layla / Nikki / Iris

The others are great, too, but these stood out the most.

Alexis has a wealth of content, and her character is brilliantly written. I actually appreciate her flaws and mistakes, as they make her feel more real and contribute to her growth. Her relationship with the MC feels the most advanced, and their interactions are top-tier. Her background and past with the MC really plays well into her story here.

Valeria arrived late in the game, but her presence is undeniable. It's a testament to Nyx's writing that she managed to steal the spotlight so effectively. I’m still not sure how she holds her own against LIs with far more screen time, but she absolutely does. She's a magnet to the MC.

Erynn is another top-tier character. The only reason she isn't higher in my playthrough is that the MC simply spends more time with Alexis first, both deepening their relationship and unlocking spicier content. Interestingly, Erynn's route seems to remain open even on a faithful Alexis path, the physical tension between them is palpable. I have no doubt Nyx will give the MC another chance with her, and I’ll definitely be pursuing her route from the start in the next update, even if it pains me to see Alexis hurt. With more content, Erryn would undoubtedly be more appreciated. Once again, another character that has a great background and her relation to the MC really blossoms in the story. Plus, she also has her share of flaws and mistakes, which helps her character stand out. I will probably soon bump her to #1 as well.

In terms of overall character depth, both she and Alexis are the undisputed winners.

An Alexis & Erynn throuple is urgently needed here :HideThePain:

Layla is the typical school sweetheart, lovely and relatively low-drama (so far, aside from the obvious one). She’s great, though her relevance to the main plot feels smaller, making her content a bit milder. The same goes for Nikki; she's a cool and sweet character, though it’s obvious a pregnancy arc is coming, which will be pure cinema. Iris suffers from the "Erynn syndrome" but even more acutely; she’s awesome but arrives very late. I appreciate that she's now after her own thing, though.

Some paths are clearly tripwires, which can be unfortunate for players who want to focus on a single LI, but it certainly serves the game's purpose.

So yeah, great stuff so far. The main criticism would be the lack of music and how the MC can be oblivious to what's he doing to others at times. Still, *chef's kiss*. Nyx does know her female characters.

Yeah I love this game! Just a heads up.....the next update will kill the current saves.....
unless things have changed? So you might want to hold off playing till that happens.
Or not.....just thought you should know.

So I tried to search this a few times. There are 3 animations that completely crash my game. one each involving Nikki,Erynn and Gabi. Really makes trying to get those routes done impossible. Anyone know a workaround or fix would be appreciated.

Well, it doesn't crash the game. It's just your PC can't handle them.
