Man, it’s been a while since I played this game. It’s a great game and I loved it for sure, but I can’t remember much now. I only remember a few characters, like the girl we meet on the plane who turns out to be the MC’s childhood friend, the one he has a crush on, and the daughter of the woman the MC’s dad was supposed to marry, which of course didn’t happen as MC saw him fooling with anoter women. I also remember the neighbor girl and her mom. The neighbor girl had some issue, something related to fashion or some guy, but I might be wrong.

I stopped playing because of the whole plot point where the MC is born due to his mom fooling around with another man, but she still ended up marrying his dad. That kind of put me off (if not outright pissed me off), since I don’t like playing as an MC whose existence is basically an accident. I also remember the MC’s mom mentioning her lover and telling the MC to meet him or something like that.

But anyway, this isn’t a negative post. I just saw this game mentioned in another thread and felt like coming back here to see how it’s doing and to share my experience or opinion about it as I love the game and the characters.

Anyway, I hope the dev is doing well and successfully finishes the game.

So, i'm curious: does anyone know if the ability to activate simultaneously Erynn's romance path and Alexis SP something that's actually intended, or just an oversight in the current version of the game's script and the author didn't really expect the players to be able to do it?

I'm asking because, while the game seems to roll with this without any real issues, it gives you a somewhat schizophrenic Erynn who has hots for the MC, makes out with him etc and yet tries to pair him up with Alexis, and e.g. the SP version of the beach outing lacks any text variants for MC on romantic route with Erynn that the regular "double date" on the beach gets, plus it's also missing the romance-oriented option to Join Erynn at the end of it. Kinda as if written with presumption MC and Erynn can only reach this branch as friends, when it's currently not the actual case.

I did find this bug once and i'm pretty sure it's a bug.
You have ASP which is Erynn trying to set you up with Alexis, but Erynn is still making out with you, it does feel weird and lack cohesion... probably because it was never intended.
ASP isn't suppoused to happen with the Erynn route, it's suppoused to be an Erynn who is no longer interested on the MC for herself so she decides to set him up with Alexis.

It's probably gonna be fixed come version 15 since Layla and Erynn won't be able to be combined anymore.

So far there have been no conflicts between Nikki(same applies to Cara) and any of the girls that live in Madison Springs.
No one has the right answer to this question... is there a final decision coming? Are you already screwed? No one knows... (also saves are getting dumped so who cares?).
PS: Kaskaze has the right idea, play the game, spread some saves around to be safe(reload if you fuck up too much) and have fun, stop thinking on how you can beat the system.

It's 100% not intended, one of the points for ASP is having Erynn not interested, but... apparently there's enough points to "get back" into the Erynn path after being outside... which causes this bug.

In a way this should fix the ASP bug, since you need to have Layla in a relationship and Erynn as a friend... chosing Layla outside the club will immediately get you these 2 things, and chosing Erynn will automatically end the possibility of Layla and ASP.

And to have a playthrough where the MC starts having second thoughts between Alexis and Erynn you must chose Erynn outside the club.

It's also weird when it comes to long term rivals, Layla already doesn't allow Valeria, Alexis(outside of ASP) and now Erynn too... Elena is it's own weird thing.
The combo options become the Riverside sisters, Gabi, Iris and Melissa? Only Gabi and ASP are highly personal, the others are with girls she doesn't interact.

Yeah, it automatically becomes the friend path nothingburger variant of the talk, where for some unexplained reason it's not the supposed-adult Alexis who tells her own sister in their own home that she's dating this boy Layla happens to share class with and she is just friends with (and so it's not even Layla's any real business or she has any room to express approval/disapproval that should matter), but it's MC delivering these news to Layla like he's a suitor fearfully hoping for a blessing from his gf's parents, and waiting around until the training camp before doing that.

Also kind of renders just dumb the whole thing with MC acting all "omg this is sooo awkward" and early blow-up with potential break ups from both sides if you tell Layla about dating Alexis early when the three of them meet, if MC is locked to a friends path and never really returns Layla's early advances. Hopefully the new iteration can smooth that out as part of the change.

Basically a mess where some of the scenes won't play anyway, because the game does mutually exclusive checks to determine what scene to play at a given point. So it'll play whichever scene passes the check list first, and skip the alternative(s).

The level of seriousness of that talk really makes no sense unless you are in the making out stage with Layla, she should be like... good for you guys
Same thing about the meeting in the pizza place, maybe Alexis has a "reason" to get pissed at the MC calling her out...
But Layla should be... "That was awkward... so... Spanish", she has no reason to run off like she does.

This is one of my favorite conflicts
The good news is that Nyx haven't said anything about changing how Alexis-Erynn works... Just make sure to stay with Erynn after the club and i think it's gonna be alright i think.
