Who could it be? It's someone you are gonna meet while running... Park or Beach? The schoolgirls should be having class... it can be someone like Lakeyin who doesn't have much to do... you meet her at the beach and things escalate.
Maybe Ximena likes to run in the park/beach.

i think the gut feeling option will be , you'll start training with either Shacarri or Gaby's sister (the one the black guy told you about over training) but the catch will be that you'll stop hanging out and training with your friends and girlfriends.

I think you are remembering things slightly wrong.
I believe Iris goes to her dad's office and does a frustrated "sigh" and John tells her, "just talk to him", he never promised to get involved.

As far as I remember she doesn't ask John to speak to the MC about her. John tells Iris to "Just tell him" to which she just sighs. So it's most likely, just tell him that you still love him.

He might end up involved, specially if we are fucking around on both his daughters... but he doesn't want to, he wants Iris and MC to figure things out.

Shacarri would be an interesting one, it's been a while since we saw her... it makes sense for her to be out running.

There was a faint hope that Nyx would release Episode 15 this year, but it looks like even early next year is out of the question. It'll likely happen in the spring of 2026.

It's better to have a "go ahead or pass" on the spot.

It also doesn't make any real sense not to make it an actual choice at the final point and taking the control away from the player "because you already had choices". With Melissa there's at least excuse that both MC and Melissa are drunk and not exactly in full control of themselves. But that's not the case for a morning training session unless for some reason MC starts the day draining a bottle of vodka.

Progress Update - Episode 15

Probably the last progress update of the year, since I'll be gone from next week until the new year.
The Valeria scene has been finished. I'm working on the last small scenes to finish the first day. One of the scenes is the new scene I talked about a little while ago. I wasn't sure if I would include it or not, but I decided I would. It's the MC goes to the movies scene if you aren't on the Valeria or the other character's path. Then there will be another small scene, which is a conflict with a certain character. And the last scene of the first day is actually an Ethan scene, for if you decided not to help Erynn with the blackmail plot. Since the majority of the blackmail storyline has been scrapped, which included the not helping Erynn scene, all scenes now need to get together at a certain point so everything will have the same ending instead of multiple endings. Probably a short phone call scene, similar to the one you've already seen in episode 14. Or maybe I should just remove the choice of helping or not helping Erynn and automatically make you help her. Would save me some time... We'll see.
Let's start talking about day 2 and what's about to happen there. First there will be 2 options to where MC will train for the relay race (If he's still allowed to participate that is. But since he doesn't know the answer he trains for it nevertheless). Depending where you go (Will be decided by a previous choice), MC will meet a certain character at each spot. Both spots will be completely different. One will be longer than the other because of intertwining paths.
In the afternoon, MC will meet up with the partner he's assigned to work on the geography project with. But, there's also a possibility MC won't be helping (This is also due to previous choices.)
Another scene in the afternoon is ... Yeah, I'm not going to talk about this one either. It's gonna be very different than usual. Some will like it, some won't. It has to do with MC, though, and maybe some of you will be able to guess it.
MC will also go to John's garage to get the repaired car and talk about some other stuff.
Lastly, there will be a scene which starts the end of the blackmail plot. Of course, I won't be talking about what's happening there. But this episode will come with a warning, which I will talk about closer to release.
What I will warn you about already, though, is that there will be a point in one of the MC training scenes where it looks like you don't have a choice to a certain outcome. Trust me, you had a choice already, multiple actually but it's not black or white. Sometimes you need to do something you don't want to do, and sometimes the "bad" option will be the better option in the long run. So, stop always taking the option which gives you points and trust your gut feeling.
Keep in mind. Things can always change a bit while I work on scenes. Some things can be scrapped, but I can also add a new scene to it.
That's it for now. I probably will start working on day 2 in the new year. I might be able to finish day 1 in a few days before I'm off to my vacation.

Well first of all. Thanks for posting the devlog! Taking the risc of the bans of the mighty dev. That being said this devlog is all about how intertwined the game has become for her. We all know that we have to start from scratch next update. Replaying all the paths and branches 14 episodes all over again! Yeah great job lady. Job well done nyx, which we all could see in this thread has very short toes. And is really short on het sponsors. Easy banning when they do not perform the way her Majesty wants.

Do know I like the game. But it is becoming more and more branched and more and more hard to play in a decent way. The player will be dragged more and more in the swamp created by the dev. There are so many paths, possibilities, and ways to play. And also to miss scenes.

Well this devlog doesn't say shit to me. It is telling nothing instead of her taking a holiday, earning money enough looking at her stats. Well enjoy lady. We will be waiting for the next update. And hide your earnings........... It will be enough for a super holiday. Hoping you come back to defend this. With your short toes.

In the sense that it's gonna trigger without any "Do you go for it? Yes or no".
It looks like Nyx fell in love with doing that...

Nyx says this after she enumerates the things MC will do day 2, go for a run, geography paper, grab mom's car from John...
V15 will be the beginning of the end.
V16 will be the proper ending.

Like I said I played a save a long while back where I wasn't helping Erynn and it was actually nice not having to deal with Ethan or any of that bullshit.

Of course this storyline won’t end — because what would this game even be about then??? Ethan will disappear for a while, but someone else will appear. It’ll turn out that this person was manipulating Ethan, and that he himself is also a victim.
But seriously, I kind of hope both yes and no. Because on one hand — what happens next? Which direction is the story supposed to go? The blackmail is there, but at the same time it kind of isn’t.
I understand that problems like this can’t be resolved in a few hours and take days, but damn — for several updates now Ethan hasn’t done anything, like he doesn’t even exist in this game. We only know that Ethan exists in the background and is ‘controlling’ Erynn.
So I’m definitely hoping that the blackmail will be explained at least a bit, but at the same time I still want this storyline to continue. And now I’ve noticed I’ve got an awesome scarf next to my avatar. Can this be left there permanently?

Hi, what is the consensus or theory on why Gabby lied to Arianna regarding the fight saying MC punched Zack and fucking up MC?? In my case MC didn't even punch Zach and even on my routes where Gabby is not involved at all, she stills does it.

I get the feeling that Gabi told ‘her truth’ here, because she saw the MC standing and Zach lying on the ground. So I’m guessing that was her assumption and her version of the truth — that the MC was the one at fault. I think everything here will depend on Tori and the rest of the group.

simple fact is he needed to be out of school to push the plot forward about the blackmail shit. So it had to happen, no deeper meaning than that or conspiracy there. Gabi just happened to be one Nyx chose, just as well could have been the other 2 teachers (that we know)

The blackmail is hardly integral to the game, i won't miss it, it only affects one character, it develops at a snail's pace... we often go several updates without any developments on it.

My hope is that after he's gone girl v girl drama will take center stage.
This is the thing i enjoy the most, and while it's often teased that "this is gonna end badly", for the most part we are still waiting for the girls to actually fight each other, there's jealousy, sometimes there's cheating... but not a lot of consequences.

Many of us believe that getting rid of Ethan will "set Erynn free"(including me), something that will allow the rivalries she's involved to get spicier.
Be it with Alexis, Iris or even Melissa... or Gabi once Erynn starts working at the school.
In addition to that, your girl Nikki becoming a Madison Springs resident.
Recipe for a lot of fun.

Gabi saw an altercation on the hallway, she saw that 2 people were involved, MC and Zach, and reported this, not how it got started or how it became one guy standing over the other.
For the school it also doesn't really seem to matter if you clocked him or just pushed him to the ground, you are getting suspended anyway.

Yeah, Nyx needed the MC doing things "outside" and she needed him suspended to justify "why isn't he going to school?".
