That's always been a critique of Ptolemy for me. In general, he writes good characters and generate interesting stories, but his endings are never satisfactory. I'm not sure why? The are not terrible, but just meh... compared to the story leading up to it.After play, the game is nice, but not good enough.
I feel the game is not completed. When Dr Denise is pregnant, the ending is her giving a baby. However, when Christine is pregnant, no giving baby ending.
And it is sad that when Andrew fucks Christine (timid) and Denise, Andrew only gets Denise pregnant at the end.
Sorry for my poor english.
I do agree apart from Dana. I didn't mind the endings for that game. That's always been a critique of Ptolemy for me. It looks like that with a lot of projects where he is involved in. I mean Haley's story is a prime example (Co-written with Viit). It started out as one of my top 3 games and then just fizzled out. Alexandria the same and this one the same. Name dropping, but Daniel K is the same for me... Great games, but meh ending.
Daniel K endings are meh because they only account for who you end up with. E.g. if you choose Girl A, the ending only features Girl A without 'recognizing' all of your journey to get her with Girl B, C, etc.Daniel K is the same for me... Great games, but meh ending.
I agree with you about those games. I'm really satisfied with how they handled the ending. I played IR just for the story until 00:55 AM, and now I feel uneasy because of how the game ended. Came back to this and feeling lostDaniel K endings are meh because they only account for who you end up with. That's why GGGB, Long Live the Princess, Babysitter, etc have pretty satisfying endings. They acknowledge almost everything you have gone through, not just the girl you choose.
pick bold for her picks in the beginning both times. i dont think she has to show she knows him at the clothes store or not to trigger #9 but did for me. choice 9 only pops up if her bold stat is a 2.Some reason, I can't get Christine to cheat on Andrew. Choice 9 in the walk through, never comes up, so I can't progress with her. Her bold is equal or greater than 2 and no choice appears.
I didn't get any of this endings, instead no matter if Andrew agrees with Christine and knock her up or not,Kelly get on a vacation and at some point Christine makes some kind of plan to get rid of her saying "to hell with her" and calls her pretending to be nice and say that they miss her, then you can see Christine in the fitness talking with her friend and saying "we really need to hire a cleaner" obviously planning to kill Kelly that a moment later appears in the fitness too and they both go home where later Andrew comes back and hugging his daughter while she is saying that she is going to stay with them cause someone need to watch at them and with that the game ends and there is a message saying "more in future updates" but it's seems that there are no more updates at this one. Does that mean he is planning to make a sequel to that one where we will see what will happen after she comes back home and that Christine is planning to get rid of Kelly?Remember playing this game like 3 years ago, decided to finish it. Without proper guide/mod it was kinda hard to find routes, am I missing some?
