Why does the cheat code in the developer notes point to a paywalled patreon post? Not what I would expect on this site.

Kudos, TheCoder. So far I'm enjoying this game a lot - the visual imagery is great and the writing is very good (certainly better than several other games I've played). It does seem a little light on content, though, unless I'm missing something... Is there anything else to do after I help Amelia fabricate the part? I can move around the ship (thanks to the "E.D.I.T.H. Glasses"), but I haven't been able to interact with anyone since then or find any new content for that matter. If not, can you give a rough estimate of how soon the next updated version will be released and a rough estimate of how frequently new updates might be released going forward?

Honestly, Into the Nyx does remind me quite a bit of Stranded in Space (previously mentioned), but that is one of my favorite games so that isn't a bad thing.

Kudos again, and keep up the good work!
Thanks for the positive feedback, We are planning on Short and Long Release cycles, 3 to 5 weeks on average, right now game is little short on content considering it has 2 releases. We wanted to build a good foundation based on previous feedback which I believe we have done, so next version onwards content will be added progressively.

It looks interesting i like the theme and it seems the renders are well done, but as it is very new, it has little content.Besides that, is sandbox, if they are not well done , they are very tiring (sandbox games at the beginning are a little frustrating because they have little content).
But good luck to the dev, maybe next year that i come test the game.:coffee:
The game doesn't heavily rely sandbox, it's Hybrid of VN and Sandbox, the sandbox is just there to provide players few options, explore some side quests and so on.

Which part have you helped her fabricate? There are 3 fabrication events, but some may rely on other events to unlock them.

Also it is hard to say what else is left to do without knowing what all you have already done.

The best advice is to follow the hints for each girl. If there are no other hints and all girls say "support us on Patreon" then you have reached the end, if they say wait a day or two, then sleep in your bunk. If you have not reached day 7 of free play, then yes there is still more, as the story takes over again at day 7 and then after the story event returns you to Sandbox with at least one more sandbox event.

You should have events with Amelia, Silver, Sara, and April in this version.

Also, for those who want more story/lore about this timeline, there are several database entries that expound on various things, places, or historical events that lead to the current state of humanity in the universe.

Thank you for your explanation! It appears that I still have some content to discover.

Just to be clear, apparently the MC is going to need to nap multiple day periods away or maybe even sleep multiple days away to get that unseen content to be unlocked... Is that (more or less) correct?

Just played the game for the first time. Very good start, great easy to use ui for a sandbox, renders are nice. Not too keen on the MC's looks with the Mcdouchie hair, but certainly not the worse I've seen in these games.
Hopefully could be as good as Stranded in Space.

I don't love the "bald MC" approach... I even prefer "meh" hair, and while this MC doesn't necessarily have the best hair DAZ has to offer, IMO it's better than "meh".
If you seriously think that hairstyle is better than "meh" you have an atrocious fashion sense lol. That hairstyle is one of the results you get if you tell the hair dresser to just fuck your shit up. Looks like something a guy going through a mid-life crisis and starting to bald would get.

Despite my still mixed feelings, the rework is a step in the right direction. Definitely an improvement over the original version.

Honestly, I don't pay that much attention to what the MC looks like in this or any other game . . . I have far better things to focus my attention on looking at . . . :sneaky:

(And who knows?? Maybe *that* is the pinnacle of style in the 26th Century . . . )

And that's the problem with pretty much every single adult game (and very unlike any other genre), very little attention paid to the MC despite having to look at him the most, let's just have some generic character that looks exactly like every other game to the point they've become in-jokes. The only worse thing to do is to hide the face altogether.

There are 4 sections to each day. If I remember correctly how The Coder has it set up, when you click on the bed you get options for nap and sleep. I believe Nap takes you to the next block of the day and Sleep takes you to the next day. so if it is morning and you are supposed to meet someone in the after noon, a nap will get you to the right spot, or just click on the clock icon in the middle center of the heads up display (the sandbox screen) but if it is afternoon and you need to "wait a day" or "visit in the morning" then sleeping would be your best option to skip multiple blocks of time till the following morning.

So yes, he will have to sleep a few times, but if you do a task and then sleep and do the next task and sleep and so on, then you will probably only have one or 2 days of just sleeping to skip the day in order to hit day 7 and get the next story section.

What's wrong with hiding the face? I don't want to look at the guy. And I certainly enjoy it less if the character looks stupid. I like being able to imagine what I want for the MC.

Just like I don't like seeing the guy's face in porn, and most porn directors know this and intentionally cut off the actor's face most of the time. They know you're there to see the women and use your imagination that you're the one banging them, etc.

The only game I can think of where I don't hate it is oddly enough Solvalley School, where the character is an ugly retard... because it's part of the story specifically that he is totally retarded and ugly, but has such a giant wang and skill with women that they all fall for him anyway. Other than that, I don't want to see the MC. The only MC I can think of where we can see the face and it doesn't really ruin the game for me is probably Hillside. Again, because it's more of something like a movie we're watching rather than a story we're inserting ourselves into and choosing the direction of events to our liking, etc.

Because unless it's actual porn where the story doesn't matter, if you're writing a character and a story, having a face and facial expressions are important, that's what actually immerses players and identify with characters (who already have preset personalities), and it also makes framing scenes a lot easier. And especially in games, hairstyle is 50% of a character's personality, and so it's weird that many games choose the exact same few hairstyles because that makes them feel like exactly the same character.
