How are people getting sex scenes? I was able to get a topless boob grope, but that's as far as the sexual content went. At any rate, I think I saw everything the game has, except for the sex scene, so I'll give more notes:
- Please don't lock out the ability to backtrack. There was a point about halfway through where there was a camp in front of me, and a path that led down to some skeletons, so I went to camp thinking I'd save in case I crashed again, but then got locked out of the previous path with no way to go back, which is really annoying in an RPG.
- Having fiddled with the magic spells in the experiment room, I'm starting to wonder why not replace the main spells with those? Throwing in VR has always been fiddly and tempermental at the best of times, but during a fight or while dodging projectiles, it's a pain; the aim and shoot method works much better for this type of game.
- Strafing is way faster than running, for some reason, so I ended up going through most of the game sideways, which while amusing, is not a good look.
- The clothing damage states look like they'll only apply to party member NPCs? Because I think it'd be way better to have female enemies, and have the torn clothing states worked into it, which works as an incentive to combat, since right now there's no reason not to avoid it.
- I can sort of tell what you're going for with an escalating relationship mechanic with female party members, but as it is, it's really weird and borderline sort of creepy that you're rewarded with an increased touching mechanic. The implication is "We've traveled a little bit further, now you get to touch my boobs"
- Speaking of touching, why does the girl randomly get mad when I touch the zones in the circles? You can't yell at me for touching your boobs when you took your top off and told me to.
- I assume this issue is due to the fact that the game is in such an early state, but the second girl is introduced with absolutely no dialog or context. I talked to her, and now she's there, but I can't interact with her in any way. Also, she's first introduced as April, but then in the camp, the game calls her Erica.
- And a minor note on Erica/April that's all down to personal preference: I vastly prefer the outfit on the loading screen art, with the domino mask and garters, to the horns and metal bikini.

The game needs a lot of work, but it's something I wouldn't mind paying for once it's finished if it gets the major issues sorted out. Although, the version number is kind of worrisome, since 0.65 to my mind implies you're more than halfway to going gold, and with a half hour demo in such rough state, I don't think the game is anywhere near feature complete. I wouldn't even think this was in pre-alpha yet.

Started playing for a bit before it crashed. Couple of things so far I want to comment on right off the bat:

- The first, and easiest to fix, is that you're making a mistake that nearly ever game developer makes when making a VR game with sword combat: the sword is sheathed on the wrong side. The overwhelming majority of your players are going to be right-handed, and the sword is sheathed on the right side, which makes drawing your sword much harder than it needs to be. It needs to be sheathed on the non-dominant side so the sword can be drawn cross-body with the dominant hand. I would also suggest adding the ability to switch which side the sword is on, because not everyone is right-handed.
- There's something "off" about the female models when looking at them face to face. It's like their face is 2-dimensional, and floating slight ahead of their head; I don't know a better way to phrase that. It only seems to be a problem with the female models, and looking at them in profile seems to be fine.
- Speaking of character models, either the player character is very short, or the game is populated with giants, because every NPC I've come across stands a good head and shoulders taller than me. At first I assumed it was an issue of play area on my part, so I fiddled with my positioning through SteamVR, but then tables and counters only stood about knee-high.
- The game is very inconsistent when it comes to objective markers/trails. I talked to the guy in the pub, and got the glowing foot path to talk to the barkeep a few feet away, but then didn't get the objective marker when I left the bar a moment later. It wasn't that big a deal, because I paid attention and was told to go to the farm, and there are signs in town pointing which directions everything was; but it's a matter of visual consistency. Either have objective markers and paths for every quest, or have them not at all. Or, give us the option to switch them on and off, or be able to bring them up occasionally by pinging them with a button press.

First off, thank you for the awesome and extensive feedback, we appreciate that so much! We will consider and discuss the suggestions for improvement that you gave us, as VR is where we struggle the most to nail everything down.

- The sword placement is temporarily there for the demo. In the full game we intend to have a fuller set of settings for VR.
- I'm not sure how to address the problem with the female, I guess we will look into it. If you have any clearer suggestions, that'd be great.
- The scaling in VR has been a problem and we've been trying to tackle it down, hopefully, soon we will.
- We are planning to completely rework the path/trail system, cause the current one doesn't really work, so that's in the making.
- In order to get to the sex scene, you have to go in all 3 camps along the playthrough and interact with the girl, you get the scene at the 3rd camp. I am guessing you didn't get to there cause you mentioned your game crashed.
- Most of the things you mentioned are because of the early state of the demo, the game is not very close to being finished but we are working on it everyday and we love receiving feedback that helps us improve, so thank you so much again for taking the time to play and to write all of your thoughts.

That's good to hear about the sword placement. Like I said, so many studios make that mistake, even some fairly major professional studios, and I have no idea how or why so many of them miss the placement. Even just miming the action of drawing a sword, you'll instinctively pull from the non-dominant side with the dominant hand.

I wish I could articulate better what I mean about the female models. I think the major problem is the stylistic clash between the very anime female models, with the exaggerated anime features (no nose, large eyes, sharp chins, etc) with the more "realistic" models used for the men. Personally, I don't think it makes that big a difference which aesthetic your team ends up going with (anime versus more "western" animation), but it is very important to keep the styles consistent. Maybe that was the reason the female models stuck out to me so much, because there were far more men than women, so the women looked very out of place in the game.

I think male characters should be completely deleted haha
Big kudos to the people who made them, they don't look bad at all, but I don't care about male characters... I wonder if the majority of people share the same opinion

I just finished downloading the latest version, but I'm a little confused about something. I played the previous version from December, and it seemed like it had far less content than any of the videos or the changelogs imply that it has. The version I played only had two party members, one of whom had no dialog and you couldn't interact with, and was only about half an hour long, ending right at the part where a giant succubus takes out your team.

Edit: Just started the latest version. None of the dialog is audible.

I've downloaded the game for multiple sources now, just to make doubly sure. No dialog on any NPC, and no narration at the beginning. Only on the VR version, though. The flat version is fine.

Speaking of the conflict between making an action game and making a H-game...

I honestly want both. H-games with combat have some of the most bare-bones mash-the-attack-button boring repetitive combat i've ever seen.
On the other hand, any games on this site with actual decent gameplay almost always have the [No sexual content] tag, which... feels like it's missing the point?

I know that asking for both isn't helpful, and you definitely need to prioritize one over the other, if only to decide which to do first.
... But! The draw for "It's a porn game, but it's also like... actually a real game though." is incredibly high.
It doesn't have to be triple-A like a witcher game, but, well... Check out stuff like "Cinderella Escape" series here on F95. decent game with a bondage theme and a surprisingly good combat system... except it's obvious that the sexual content is an afterthought. Beyond tying your character up in bondage-costumes, there's very little actually there.

Personally I like the idea of making a full game that could stand on it's own as an actual action-title, then adding sex-scenes in on top of that.
That probably wouldn't appeal to the player-base here on f95zone, however, who mostly log in to beat their meat.
You might get success on steam though?

... well, adding your sex scenes in afterwards might result in that same "The h-content is an afterthought" feeling though?
You can't really start off with a porn-game and then add good gameplay later, can you?

It.. kinda works on the Index.
The only issue with it so far, is that you never hear the dialogues, at all.
All other sounds seems to be ok, it's just the dialogues that are missing somehow.

Everything else seems to be ok on the index though.

The being pushed back when being too close to objects or characters, is a bit sickening though. Not to the point of puking yet, but I could see people puking because of that.

This one actually shows promises. The controls are easy enough, aiming is fairly ok, minus the occasional random mis fire/aim.
The graphics quality, for what it is in VR, are actually ok enough.

I would not say it is a masterpiece, but it seems to be shaping up to be quite decent at least.
If the dev's watching, is there a beta build on steam by any chance?

One suggestion I would give also, is to have the sword holding, as a trigger. Keeping the controllers 'gripped' for a long period of time, becomes kinda painful after a while :)

That's only an issue in this build. The dialog was fine in the previous version.

I found out how to fix the sound issue, it's actually quite simple :)

When opening the game, you get a webpage thanking you, and that takes the game away from the foreground. You've got to manually click on the game again before putting your VR headset back on :)

I've just tested it up to the 2nd girl meeting, and all dialogues were ok then.

Small feedback about magic powers, aiming up to the enemy on the tower, was impossible. I never got a shot. It seems that pass a certain angle, the magic just completly ignore your aim and just does a drop in front of you instead of a throw.

I'd also suggest to swap the sword to a right trigger trigger action, instead of constant grip. As stated before, it hurts rather quickly to keep a grip on, but on top of this, you waste crap load of mana dropping powers while trying to grip the sword too ^_^.

After checking the non VR version, is there a quest log similar to the non vr somehwere?

Another small feedback, the notification texts (like when meeting a new girl), are way too high on the headset/screen, and as such difficult to read.

Is there a difference in content between the VR version and the flat version? I can't trigger a new H-scene with Erica at the third camp. She just keeps saying "Wanna play some more? Go finish your quest." And then when I left the camp, it kicked me to the main menu. Trying to continue the game just kicks me back to the main menu again.

Speaking of saves, does anyone have a save before the sex scene with Erica? I haven't been able to trigger it in the two builds i played, and i don't want to do the whole demo again.

What I have seen so far I have really enjoyed. My only complaint is that the index controls could be better. You have to death grip your controller just to keep ahold of your sword and its nearly impossible to jump while moving without spinning the camera. I would suggest moving jump to a button instead. Oh and I am like a foot shorter for some reason.

The game already has good assets. It can be put in a playable state if they are used correctly:
Random quest to kill X amount of wolves > Reward Sex
Pay the prostitutes with orbs > Sex
Cheat > Use any sex position with any girl

You got the idea... I don't think it's worth to spend so much time developing cutscenes, idle animations, map/story creation and polishing everything while the game still doesn't even have a core gameplay/reward system.

Firstly, sorry for the late answer to everyone and secondly, as you can see, we launched a beta version! So, we're hoping you enjoy it and it's not too broken. Also, I see that a lot of people play VR on Valve Index. Please keep in mind that we don't develop specifically for Index, we develop and test on Rift and Vive.

I just finished downloading the latest version, but I'm a little confused about something. Somebody below pointed out that because of the thank you page that pops up when you start the game, you have to click your game back into focus before putting on the headset.

Not if you want it to make sense. You're right, it's a very big scope to be both a great porn game and have great gameplay. We're having a tough time about which to put first too. But I think for now our focus is actually the story. Story that will be written in a way to fit in both good sexual content and good gameplay. So it's more like "one thing at a time" so that we can make it all work well when combined together, rather than "do this first and then that". And yes that would mean that until we get to the sexual content, F95's audience probably won't be too happy but that's okay with us. Whoever decides to stay, we'd appreciate it, whoever wants to go, they are free to, we won't be mad. I hope that makes sense.

It.. kinda works on the Index.

Thank you for the good feedback! Like I mentioned above, we don't test on Index, keep that in mind but we will keep in mind the issues you experience on it. To answer your question, no, we don't have the beta build on Steam, but it is on F95, itch and Gamejolt.

I found out how to fix the sound issue, it's actually quite simple :)

Again, thank you for the awesome feedback, we took notes on it. And thank you and I'm glad you figured the sound issue!

Saves in the demo don't work very well, sorry to say that, but you are gonna have to replay to get to the scene and make sure to talk to the girl every time you visit camp.

alot of the controls dont work in non vr cant cast spell and if you hit the esc you cant click nothing it just gets stuck there its a cool game but is there a fix for this
Please make sure you aren't running the VR build without a headset. The right file for 3rd person is Iragon.bat

Like I said, we don't test on Index, hopefully we'll get one in the future, since so many people are playing on it. But we will have those issues in mind.
