Once again a game without any innovation or reason to exist. At first it looked quite interesting, skills that improve with use, a female protagonist. But you quickly realize that it is no fun. Opponents who are defeated after the first hit (and that without any skill). Boss fights that aren't any better.
But then came the decisive point for me that made the game go to waste: the oh-so-protected and shy girl is told by her gracious deity that she has to do cave research with as many men as possible (her cave) in order to increase the combat power of the super weapon. I would really like to know how many guys her father (and every previous male hero) has slept with...probably had to wear diapers afterwards.
The summary: boring fights, not particularly good graphics, a story that is stupid...trashcan here I come.
So, I've just played a bit of the game, too, and I gotta reply here.
First of all, yes, this game has very workmanlike plot and dialogue even by H-game standards. That being said, I don't think audiences are looking for originality from a game like this. They want something comfortingly simple.
Considering what you describe here all happens in the first 5 minutes, I don't think you could really call Iris "shy" when her reaction to being told she has to collect semen is mild bemusement at best, and a few hours later, she decides it's a good excuse to go fuck that hot guy she met at the tower. Which she does with great enthusiasm.
As for the latter part, I don't think her father had the sword? Still, you'd think that the story would specify that the hero is always female, or something.
I don't disagree that the writing is very bland and mechanistic, but the art is pretty good, and damn, it's rare to find short-haired girls as the protagonist of games like this, so I'm going on with it a bit further...
