so. does anyone know what kind of network feature the game is attempting to use? since i didn't know, i actually let windows firewall block it. is it looking for steam? drm? user stats and specs to game maker? does this game actually try to multiplayer?

inquiring minds want to know.

edit: also game does not seem to play without it, so without knowing what its trying to do, guess this game is a hard pass for me. too bad, i actually watched this anime series.

Hestia! Anyway ... the game looks very standard and not very interesting so I probably won't find time for it :-/ it could use stronger scenes, cool romance plots or something.

Japanese LN/WN titles are always way too long. I have yet to figure out why. Korean and Chinese novels don't have such long titles.
im actually not surprised at the length of the title (as most japanese games have long ass titles). but just think about what the title actually says xD. who comes up with such a question?

You may think the reason is stupid, but here's the legit reason:

The competition for Manga/Novels/Hentai is so huge in Japan that people will choose something based on the title and not on the synopses. As such, the Authors want the readers to know what the Manga/Novel/Hentai is about, based on the title alone, so that they will then be more likely to read the synopses and then read it.

Is it dumb? Sure. But so is yelling on a Youtube video "Don't forget to like and subscribe! Also make sure to click on that notification bell!", yet they do that, because it's been proved that by asking people to do that, they are more likely to do so.

Facts indeed.
Didn't know about that, and I can imagine the competition is insane, there is so much new doujin everyday that it's hard to make a name for yourself, but I guess someone talented would stand out if the art is really nice.

And for youtube, agreed as well, it is mandatory to do some branding and finding some fun way to ask for likes / subscribe etc...

Can't be used the mouse, or it'ls just me? Combat is really uncomfortable just with keyboard, and I think the assignations of keys can't be changed either...

From what I've seen on NU, Japanese novels with long titles tend to be copy-paste, lowest of the low, flavor of the month trash while titles with short punchy titles tend to rate higher even if they also use the same cliches. Kind of like the Google Play store. Granted, it could be different in their native countries.

It truly depends on what year the LN was released. This trend is fairly new and most prevalent in the last 10 years or so. Things like My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected (やはり俺の青春ラブコメはまちがっている。), or even this very own LN the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (ダンジョンに出会いを求めるのは間違っているだろうか). They usually shorten it, as for example, this novel is just referred to as DanMachi (ダンまち), as a play with the word Danjon (Dungeon) and Machigatteiru (If it's wrong or right).

Old novels just go with simple names like Slayers (スレイヤーズ) and Full Metal Panic (フルメタル・パニック). Some exception are novels like Goblin Slayer (ゴブリンスレイヤー).

One of the more famous new novels is The Death Mage Who Doesn’t Want a Fourth Time (四度目は嫌な死属性魔術師).

It's from the same dude that came up with the "Here goes nothing" quote that appears in 99% of the H-anime games every time the MC tries to hug or kiss a female character.

The anime was alright, but I always hate when a show proclaims itself to be mature, proceeds to have moments that are definitely beyond Echi, but they still refuse to show the titty. I mean, if your going to have a rather that mature and do sexual things, just show it already, you know the artists want to.

Same problem I had with "How Not to Summon a Demon Lord ". Fantastic anime, but there's literally a scene where at one point the main character has to fingerbang a girl in order to save the kingdom, but they still refuse to show skin, despite the show basically being pornographic.

Once again, great shows, but I don't like being cockteased xD

I am moved to tears! My hero! T_T
---------------

I hope there will have enough timescreen with Ryuu Lion, Aisha Belka, Tiona Hyrute and Lefiya Viridis.
Yes! You read me right! I'm a fan of Lefiya! The character most people hate in DanMachi - Sword Oratoria! (I was the same) But since I read the volume 5 where she and Bell fight together side by side... This ship will not bother me if it happen one day! (PS: I don't like at all Ais --> she's too much of a living doll... I'm not a fan of kuudere)
