Japanese LN/WN titles are always way too long. I have yet to figure out why. Korean and Chinese novels don't have such long titles.Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?

The closest reason we can find is that it's the equivalent of reading the synopsis on the back of a book. It's very similar to how pornos use very literal titles. Better to catch your attention on the cover and tell you what it's about all at once, than to require you to pick up the book and flip it over to read a synopsis.

I actually really like those japanese's sense of name, pretty straightforward and up to the point. Alas this one here actually did a bad job at telling us what we're supposed to expect, I mean "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?" dang I thought the MC would be some Nicky Larson hitting on all the cute girls he'll come across to during every dungeon dwelling. What I saw from the anime is the complete opposite of what the title is indicating lol.

I get you, been reading it since day 1 in the Manga... Though I didn’t noticed the English title until it got an Anime xD Still a good manga for all it’s worth IMO... Also Dungeon Meshi is a very good one indeed.
