Like I mentioned in my Tiers. Most of the Extreme content is just temporary only for patreon versions will be removed from final version because it's illegal on Steam leaving me no profit for adding the extra content, lol not to mention the 4 weekly versions you receive for that price plus relationship and Items cheats

I have not previously contributed to this platform, but I believe it is crucial to address the concerns raised by both the complainants and the developer.

It is essential to acknowledge that there will always be individuals who expect to receive everything for free. However, it is prudent to disregard these individuals since they were never prospective "customers".

In the following explanation, I will outline why and how this issue should be addressed in future updates:

Firstly, it is acceptable to offer paid content exclusively to Patreon members. It is a logical decision to ensure that everyone involved receives appropriate compensation for their work. Financial obligations such as bills and the potential need to acquire new hardware or software to achieve the desired vision necessitate generating revenue.

Relying solely on compliments and positive feedback is not sustainable. Even those who desire free access to everything understand that they themselves would not work for free. Consequently, they cannot expect others to do so either. Since no one wishes to support freeloaders, implementing a "paywall" of some sort becomes necessary.

That being said, the current implementation of the "paywall" is subpar and leaves much to be desired.
It is acceptable to include cheats at the beginning of the game as codes, since they assist players in bypassing less engaging content and reaching the more enjoyable aspects quickly.

However, the inclusion of the code for "extra" content should have been done at the intended location within the game, accompanied by a grayed-out image as a teaser.
Since this approach would provide players with an indication of the nature of the "extra content" they would receive upon becoming a paying Patreon member.

Placing the "paywall" at the beginning of the game without any prior knowledge of the "extra content" would likely be poorly received by new players.
Since they may feel compelled to pay for something sight unseen, and this is generally an unfavorable experience. Consequently, they might choose not to try the game at all, even if they would have enjoyed the game had they only given it a chance.

Presently, this arrangement fosters a negative sentiment even before players have commenced their gaming experience.
No one wishes to encounter a barrier right at the outset without knowing what they will be missing out on.
Conversely, if players are aware of what lies behind the gate and believe it would enhance their experience, they would willingly pay for it.

By incorporating the "extra content" within the game alongside a teaser, players are enticed to start playing.
As they progress and eventually encounter the locked content, they will be presented with the teaser image.
And at this point, they might think: "I have invested time in this game, and I have enjoyed it thus far. Additionally, the 'paywall content' appears enticing, so subscribing to the developer's Patreon for access and future updates seems worthwhile."

Finally, once the game is available on Steam, the "extra content" can be added as a free patch downloadable from the developer's website. Since this content is not available on Steam, no rules are being violated, and it is entirely up to each individual whether they choose to visit the website and download the patch. The inclusion of the patch would not be formally announced in the game details; rather, it would be spread through word of mouth.

In conclusion, addressing the concerns surrounding the implementation of paid content is crucial.
While offering paid content to Patreon members is a valid approach, the current execution of the "paywall" is inadequate.

By integrating the "extra content" within the game, accompanied by a teaser, players can make informed decisions based on their experience and potentially become paying patrons.

Furthermore, the inclusion of the "extra content" as a free patch on the developer's website after the game's release on Steam is a viable solution that adheres to the rules while providing additional value to players.

Well well, a very mature and reasonable critisim of both parties now let's see if it won't fall on deaf ears.

Thank you for that I will make the necessary changes in the next version and I'm sorry for being unprofessional. I take all my reviews seriously and some of them are just hate-filled not even true, I guess thats just some members in community are, I'll ignore them... The development will be continued as planned.

The reason behind the paywalls I want the game to be finished and released this year, for that I need funds to move out of my country as Porn is banned here with strict punishments... apologies if I keep blabbering about it
It's easy for me to say of course but try to ignore the criticism that offers nothing of substance, this is a piracy website (sort of) so there will always be people looking for free stuff and NOW but this website is always a great marketing tool as you might notice from thousands of other games where people will try it and then support the dev.

Frustrating newer players will mean less potential patrons so I'm glad this is something you are considering changing, good luck with your game. (y)

after seeing the debate above maybe I should wait for this game to finish or be abandoned so I can comfortably play it and avoid the paywall which is equivalent to EA :KEK::KEK::KEK:
Lol the whole issue is about the Extreme Content being Paywalled. Forget about having it in the final version I might have to remove that content from patreon in a few versions.

I got a warning from Patreon to remove that it was Too Extreme for them they said in the mail "Content glorifying sexual violence"
(so I guess check it out while it's there...):illuminati:

Looks like someone snitched, maybe you can remove the extreme content from patreon releases and make a patch here or in your own space so your good work doesn't go to waste.

God knows why these losers decide to snitch on other peoples work, be it for extreme/incest content but unfortunately it happens in a lot of games/VNs.

They mentioned my polls about beastality and Incest to be suspicious and one screenshot showing the extreme content which I also thought was too much to be posted online. I'm not sure if someone from patrons snitched, I made a recent progress post public,
that's after that I got a warning from Patreon. So it could be a public member who reported the content or could be a Patron who didn't like posting private content public... but nevermind if Patreon gets down for some reason Subscribestar will always be there!.

I'm really thankful and grateful for over 400 Patrons and Members on Subscribestar :D

I'll keep working hard and providing the best content for everyone!

I can tell you right now playing a game that has locked content is never a good feeling. My past experience with games like that is the equivalent of window shopping. Is it effective to get money? Yes. Does the quick income last? No. Will it keep people around? diffidently not. In fact it most often drives people away. do you need a gimmick like that to earn money? with your time frame and plans maybe it's hard to say since I have no degree in business just my personal experience being the buyer to go off of. Do I have advice that will help. No. I wish I did but all I have is the information that I pushed past those negative feelings and tried the game anyway and so far I like what I see. all and all. good luck I hope you like where ever it is you wind up moving to and try to create a more permeant way to make the content you want with out being censored by Patreon or steam just because they don't like something doesn't mean there's not a market for it nor does it mean you shouldn't make it after all it's just a game so why not go a little crazy with it.

Would you be able to leave some advise about what content is public and for your patrons and members on main page of this post ?
I understand the fact that you try to have something exclusive for your members.
But it's frustrating to download and go play... and then find out that I can't access the content that made me interested in the game.
This would be interesting for both members and not members... also the public who want to know what they gain access to, by becoming a member.
So much for others like me that if I have an interest in that game again, I can know if the content that interests me is now available.
