I agree with you, but I do think this is just another case of incompatible fetish. I don't get the ugly bastard meme but it's way too common to not be a very specific thing people are into. If I had to guess what it is it's that if it's a chad dominating women it wouldn't feel like a "fall" for the women, it would be a even a favor to them if the chad was actually attractive.
I think you're right overall. I do think both these games do a great job with establishing how far the women are falling and being corrupted outside of also falling for an ugly bastard with the social, political and cultural significance of the fall, so it's not necessary in my opinion. But that wouldn't hit the fetish properly, so I guess we're just stuck with it. At least from this dev.

I like that the protagonists are ugly, underhanded and at times pathetic (but not always, both Isis and Valdana's mc are still competent enough to trick the girls). Like others have said, it makes the corruption and fall aspect more satisfying to me, the women are degraded further when they're groveling and swooning over a character like this instead of some adonis.

Several. Depending on exactly what aspects you enjoy. About the closest that mirrors just about everything is the
Kangoku Senkan series of games. Also called Prison Battleship. Other sci-fi themed games involving corruption of crew include Space Journey X, Last Hope, Stellar Dream, and many others.
How close are they to Isis? I don't really care that much about the space setting but the brainwashing/corruption and transformations of characters is what makes Isis THE game for me.
