So he tried to turn it into another harem game like an idiot.

Every time I see a notification about this game, my heart sinks a bit, it's so dumb

Safe to say the only way this game comes back is with a fan remake.

This is the worst case scenario, when the author simply vanishes from everywhere, when this happens I tend to assume that the person died from something, I can't imagine that the dev would go through all the development of a game to simply vanish and abandon all the work that was already done
Nah, this dev was just very fickle. Jumping from one project to another. He had the best game on the market here and while everybody wanted him to finish it, he was like "Should I start another one?" Everybody was like... no. And he's like, "Okay, I'm going to start a new game." Then abandons that one too. It's quite pathetic.

I disagree. I'm actually tired of Ren'Py VNs. I wanna have more interactivity.
My main gripe is they aren't playable on android. People will say use this or use that to play them. I've tried them all, they typically crash frequently or don't work at all.
I don't think people realize the scale of VN players on android, it is probably at least 50% of people who exclusively play on android, and that is probably a big undershot. These days literally every other comment of popular games that don't have an android port are "Android?" Or "No android?"
If you're a dev and not releasing your game on Android in August of 2024 I think you're insane. And losing a severe amount of money and players. And Rpgm and android don't mix much at all.
I also don't understand the appeal of looking at 3x3 pixel blobs and thinking "Damn that's hot" to me it destroys the immersion. But hey I've gotten like 3 angry reactions. So I guess somehow that I'm in the minority here.
