The fact that you still do not understand the difference despite a bunch of people explaining it to you, pretty clearly I would add, is astounding.

I have never seen someone whose F95Zone's name fits them so perfectly before. 10/10 on the roleplay.
Also the number of your patrons fits perfectly the number of the neurons in your brain

Come on guys it's easy, why is so difficult for you to understand? Let's pretend there are two artist, Steven and Maurice.

Steven is a talented artist, so he decide to earn from his work. He starts selling some of his illustrations on Deviant art. They are really good creations, so people buy them and Steven can finally pay the bills. Then arrive an user of F59area, he buy the illustrations of Steven and he upload them on the site. F59 is a very famous site, and now people can download the illustrations for free instead of pay for them. So now nobody buys the Steven's creations anymore. Steven can no longer pay the bills. Steven is very sad.

Maurice is an emerging artist and an huge fan of Marvel's universe. He publish his comics for free on a lot of websites in english language, in order to reach as many people as possible. He also open a Patreon's page to get some support for his work. Then arrive the admin of Giuochi Spremium. He download the comics of Maurice, he translate the text in italian and he sell them on his website. The italian users of Giuochi Spremium decide to buy the comics of Maurice, because italian guys are dumbs and easly get tired of reading texts in english. Italian users appreciate Maurice's art, they would never have known it if it wasn't for GS. Some of them appreciate the comics so much that decide to support Maurice on Patreon. Maurice sees his earnings grow. Maurice can finally buy the Black Widow's sexy action figure he liked so much. Maurice is very happy.

Steven is not selling anything, because he's making art for fun and just want to show his art to the world. He might have a patreon account, but his art is still free for all.

Then comes some Gnocchi, takes Stevens art, puts it on his own website, behind a paywall and claims it to be his own work.
People who buy the stuff, won't even know the original artist is someone else, and that it's out there for free until they bought it AND happen to read the about section or where ever the dev/artist put his sign.

Again, not sure if you are actually believing what you said or you're just trolling. To be honest I think I know the answers but I'll pretend that I don't.

First, I really don't believe that comparing illustration with full games are the same, I don't know how buying illustrations in that page works but if it works as I think, before buying the illustration you can see the full product (because it's just a picture that you can see and that's all) but with a game you only got to see some images, and those images aren't the full game so I can't know if I will enjoy it based just on some random images. Why would I buy a product if I'm not sure if I will enjoy it?

Now, Steven gain a lot of visivility thanks to F59. Their work reached more people who wants to support them. More people is buying Steven's work even if those people know that they can get it for free, but they choose to suport Steven's work because they think it's worth it. Steven is very happy.

Maurice is marketing his art, then the asshole from Giouchi picks Maurice's work, claims ownership and sell Maurice's work as if he was the artist and not Maurice without even telling to Maurice before doing that or sharing his earning with Maurice. Maurice never was aware of that italian douchebag. He found out thanks to a good place like F95. Maurice feels robbed and Giouchi is an asshole trying to defend himself.

Really dude, I wouldn't have a problem with your page if you cut that selling crap of your page, set a real Patreon account and accept donations for the translations without hiding them behind a paywall as long as you ask for permission or reach an agreement with every dev.

You just a dense little troll and not worthy of the platform this discussion is giving you, so this is my last comment on this before I press "ignore" and let you howl to the moon in solitude.

If you want to "help" to people who are having trouble with English, you do it LIKE THIS FINE GENTLEMAN, and then you get my thanks, a custom piece of art, and a link from *my* pages with a thank you for your effort. In addition you have my blessing to put up a Patreon link or something similar if you'd want to.

If you put my stuff behind your paywall, you can expect a cease and desist on account of breaking *my* license terms; not for modifying it or making a buck while doing so, but for not distributing it freely.

All the main contact details to report abuse of the domain to the hosting company, and to the domain registrars, are easily found. Make sure to mention not only the clear copyright violation, but more importantly the criminal offense of fraud, in clearly misrepresenting what is sold, under what rights, etc. That way if the host refuses to act, they may be an accomplice to fraud charges ... tends to make them pay a lot more attention than just a DMCA.

Silvio Berlusconi - Are you affiliated with Giochi Premium?
I'm a simple user who bought a membership of giochi premium. I know the existence of these games (and also the existence of F95zone) thanks to that site. I've played a lot of them and I support some creators because I found their credits in the game I've downloaded. They don't claim to have the ownership of the games, they just add the watermark "translated by giochi premium"

I've already done this, it's worth sending a message to ICANN too, as well as the hosting company and the domain registrar.

Bullshit.
The website clearly states they own the license(s) OR found "Free of copyright", both are false statements with the last part being completely unrealistic.

This only tells me the owner of that website does not even know what "Copyright" is.

I think this is partly getting off track and becoming a pissing match.

If you have criticisms of this website make a new thread or stop visiting here.

If you have a problem with a developer or content creator deciding what they are ok with being done with their own creation, go away.

If you are going to come in here and act like the developers who are on here are stupid, shut up and do better than us. Prove us wrong and come back to shove it in our faces.

But most of all, let's get this thread back on track before the mods show up with their hammers

Steven said what made him sad is how stupid that was.

You really should have chosen the forum name "Jon Snow", because you have proven again and again that you truly know nothing.

What percentage of the artists on DeviantArt make even as little as $100 per month? You haven't a clue have you. It is less than 1%. Less than 1 artist out of every hundred even makes decent pocket money from Deviant Art, and even the successful few say they earn more from commissions.

Many make nothing at all in fact - & should give some fair insight from the artists on the site itself.

Over 150,000 pieces of art are uploaded every day, of which less than 1 in a thousand sell enough to even make the creator minimum wage on the creation time.

Do you know what percentage of the artists featured on F95 make more than $100 per month? Of course you don't. Over 90% is my best guess - it's hard to be any more precise or certain since the revenue split on some dev teams isn't explicit. The demand for artists by writers and devs is huge, and people know that the art is a huge proportion of the value. That's because this is practically an ideal marketplace for private commissions - the thing anyone even moderately successful on DA says is where the majority of their earnings can come from.

No, let's talk about Sergio. Sergio loves games, and he loves erotica, so erotic games are a double-win for him. He loves to support the creators, since he wants to ensure that the games get completed. Unfortunately, Sergio made the mistake of buying from the criminal behind Giochi, so while he may have hoped to be helping to support the creation of the game, making it more likely to be completed so he could continue to enjoy it, he'd been deceived. He was actually supporting and encouraging the precise weasel-wanker that was making the actual game developer feel like giving up. Because Giochi, being a complete cunt, was never going to be satisfied, and took any sale as encouragement to expand his operation to rip off yet another and another and another.

Sergio only found out about this far, far later. Sadly he'd already had his game budget for that month taken under the fraudulent lies of Giochi the Goat-blower, and it had already taken him a while to discover the real name of the game and that his money, despite what those taking it had claimed, had not one single cent going to those actually creating the game. Thus it was 2 months later that he was finally able to find the actual creator's Patreon with a view to supporting it. He had to merely hope and pray that the dev would not have gotten disheartened and given up, and he felt very stupid for having been so completely ripped off by Giochi Fuck-womble.

I think my stories are not only more entertaining than your ones, but also far more believable and realistic.

Certainly far more believable and realistic than imagining you actually paid Giochi Poo-poker and NOT feeling you were defrauded, ripped off, and furious, as you falsely claimed.

Well said. Exactly right. The italian visitors are not only unaware of the original creator and therefore cant send money his way but also don't know about your prices which may be more fair than that site. Only the site creator is a winner there. I'm surprised that guy doesnt get it.

This thread reminds me of what happened with Macross, Harmony Gold only has limited rights to air the original Super Dimension Fortress Macross. But since then they have since blocked any further attempts to license, sell, or stream any show made bearing the name "Macross."

Ok i can see that the site is still on, i asked a favor to some friends, in Polizia di Stato, they can do something, but, as they have to act according to the law it will take time, a lot of time. There is an option number 2, but, as they are probably reading this, the option will be a surprise. BTW i am Italian.
