yeah i agree, piracy is one thing but re-selling other people's work is frankly ridiculous. the audacity of some folks. lot of well-known devs' games on that website.Nah, Just work together to dismantle that website please!
Should not excists, they do not acknowledge other people's work, steal it and on top of that, charge for it.
I've sent emails to them, the host and ICANN.We just sent an email to them to remove Freeloading Family.
I am really pissed off that someone is actually selling our game without our permission. I want this site shut down. let's make it happen.

Not sure if you're making a joke lol...Hey mates,

Hey,
Do you have any documents related to the ownership or we can do it by showing our Patreon page as a proof?
With the host and ICANN, you don't have to prove ownership; with them, you only have to say that you are the copyright owner to issue a DCMA.Hey mates,

It's different in the UK, you can be a sole trader and still hold the copyright to anything you create. The way I used to do it before employing a lawyer (and easily the cheapest way) is to write everything down, include printouts, diagrams, logos and the like; then seal it with a wax stamp or embossed stamp and post it to yourself by registered mail, then when it arrives, don't open it. You now have dated proof of the start of your right to claim it as your copyright and IP. I still have envelopes full of stuff from the '90s done in this way.Not sure if you're making a joke lol...
but we have documentation to prove ownership.
i've discussed this before elsewhere, but I'll do it again here quickly, and maybe make a longer post later...
If you are a developer and you do not own a company to represent yourself, to hold you copyrights, or to deal with your revenue for tax purposes, you should absolutely go out today, find a lawyer, and create yourself a LLC (if you're not in america, find the equivalent where you are)
This provides a lot of power in terms of copyrights, tax filing, personal protections from law suits, and anonymity. It is the single more important thing I can suggest to someone who is a developer or looking to become one.
He hasn't linked to mine. And he's not even got the decency to have a non-buggy version.Well I actually don't mind this one too much. He doesn't claim the games as his own creations, he links sources like the creators page if they exist, he doesn't force anyone to pay him and also mentiones why he is asking for money. The tiers are a bit over priced tho.
I'm dl'ing my own game from there right now and have a look if he changed something.
