I am not bashing anyone who chooses to support the developer (unlike some others who have been calling everyone stupid)
I am just being realistic. Feel free to actually inform yourself. The whole thread is here.

• 29. Aug 2017: NWOT v0.01
• 14. Sep 2017: post about a hurricane that and have done some damage
• 26. Sep 2017: NWOT v0.018b (Hurricane Maria Emergency Version)
• 28. Sep 2017 / 7. Nov 2017 / 1. Dec 2017 / 9. Jan 2018 / 28. Feb 2018 / 2. Jun 2018: Various post about the damage hurrican Maria have done and about the state of himself and Puerto Rico
• 23. Sep 2018: NWOT 0.10c
• 2. Dec 2018: NWOT 0.23 & Life update
• 26. Dec. 2019: NWOT 0.33 & Life update

So this give us 3 update for the last 3.5 years (0.10c, 0.23 and 0.33), that are the facts. Futuremore it is everyone own decision in what he do with this.

I'm assuming that the damage in Puerto Rico from before isn't all yet repaired (damage in more than one form, damage to the infrastructure, economic, people, ....) and thus the difficulties are continuing, I conclude it as following:

• It would be a miracle if the games get an update (and a very positive one)
• Dev have RL issue that are more concern than a game that makes him - at the time 59$
• I wholeheartedly spend him 2$ per month

Sadly nothing that I've come across. Phasmohentaia has a zombie girl as a side character but last I checked (a while ago, admittedly) she doesn't have an actual route.

There's a translated Japanese VN series (I Walk Among Zombies) with a zombie LI, but from what I can tell it looks like their version of "zombie" is basically just mindless human with big pupils. So missing both the aesthetic and characterization that made the girl here (sadly admit I can't remember her name, been that long) so special.

Also Zombie Island, which I haven't actually played mostly because it seems like there's very little story or characterization of the girls even before they get Z'd, and again they're boringly mindless after

Two days after that last post, earth quakes started to hit Puerto Rico as well, with, over time, extensive damage in all sectors.
Then, we had and still have SARS-CoV-2 to consider, and recently Hurricane Fiona.
I'd be very surprised if there was any activity from the dev in the next few years.

Man... This game is a gem! I wish the developer is doing great after the RL problems he passed through, maybe one day he hill come back and continue the game.

I will give the dev this. This game is definitely original without being too rediculous. The story was very level headed and not too over the top like most of these fantasy set games tend to be. Be that zombies, monsters, or magic, this game had by far the most well developed story I have seen yet. I definitely would encourage the dev to try and pick this game back up because they have a lot of potential when it comes to writing. Even if it never does get picked back up, I would recommend giving this game a try because as far as fantasy goes, it definitely has/had a lot of potential story-wise.

i knew i played this a while back and i was wondering why i never saw it being updated with the other games i started back then. damn maybe someone can do a "updated" version? and continue the story...or complete the story if the Dev just doesn't want to anymore...
