im glad all 3 games are now on one thing, but if i had to make a suggestion it would be to only do story updates after a clifhanger. i dont mind minor updates after normal stuff ends, but with such a big clifhanger i (and based on some of the complaints others) were excited to download and see what happens. take your time on ep3 if you need to. just some food for thought in the future. otherwise i apreciate the stuff in the new update
Whilst I like the game some, progress is very very slow. Development choices for a solo dev just make me go wtf but maybe it is because of my limited knowledge that some choices seem so crazy.
For example the option to trim pubes. There are multiple selections to pick your favourite trim style. Wouldn't this mean multiple renders of the exact same frame in a scene that could potentially have hundreds of frames accounting for animations? Then what happens when we get into threesomes or more? With all the different trim options for the various LIs wouldnt that just be a total pain in the ass to render and code for? Maybe it is a lot easier and less tedious than what it seems to me so someone feel free to correct me if im wrong.
In saying that I do enjoy what is there. The renders are very high quality and I like the story so far.

I'm no expert, but I think you can re-render just a small area of a scene (Like the pubic area) so you don't need to re-render the entire scene

Sad to say this game is too ambitious for one person to create with all the different girls (theres too many) and being able to customise each indiviuals pubic hairs and now a pointless chrismas special got worked on (what was the point of that). This looks like it will be in develepment hell considering the high level of renders and time it takes to update.

Not trying to flog a dead horse or start new arguments. but:
1) Pubic rendering: As per my explanation above and confirmed by the dev. To render od the pubic area alone is not such a big deal as rendering the entire scene. You can render only the pubic area for each scene that is much shorter than the initial render containing the whole scene. No posing or any other extra work needed for rendering. There are quite a few other games that also does this already. (Just select the area you want to re-render. click and boom a minute or so late you have the alternate pubic area,)
2) The pointless Christmas special as you called it contains important information to the story. A big part of the story is the mystery of the Crystal, and the special tells you the player where the MC got the crystal (And who your father is btw). So not entirely pointless.
P.S. Just in terms of the ambitious game to show that I'm not biased. That was also a concern for me. I raised it with the dev, and the dev assured me that it's all part of the plan for the game. I decided that I will trust the dev with this choice and so far I have not been disappointed. IMO the story is still coherent, and each update bring plenty of sexy scenes (A big part of why we play the game...no?). I accept that the story will not progress at the speed of light, but I have enjoyed each update so far. (Alex you are the bomb!). As long as we get updates every now and again with new content... I'm as happy as a pig in Palestine.

I hadn't played for over a year and the game is literally in the same state except with a christmas special. Oh well.

Then why call it "special"?
Just weave it into the rest of the story if it's really that important to the story. Anything called 'special' that can be skipped should be considered part of a side project IMO and I've personally have extreme dislike for them and tend to skip them because often time they just ruin the whole "story" and is there because dev want to force some sex scenes to increase revenue / interest. You want to tell a flashback and keep some kind of "special" holiday event? Make a new chapter or just a flashback event.
I understand the first year might be very difficult and be super slow but at this point you better have started to streamline some of this work.
I also think dev getting less than they deserve when it comes to patreon/payment if I ONLY go by Patreon. They are getting paid way less than some other really bad projects. IMO this game need big overhaul when it comes to cover image and how it is presented. Make the girls take up more space, make it look bright and fun, better font etc. I think it would do a WORLD of difference for this game. It took me forever to come around to it because it felt like a very dated game.
But yeah,tl:dr : Don't make "specials", if they essential to the plot or part of the plot - weave it in. If not, keep it away as a sideproject. Fix the cover image and make it more pleasing to attract more people if dev is really worried about the income.

I really liked the update Amerias scenes were hot, was there a way to hookup with Mizuki, thought when he went in the bathroom after her something might happen, maybe he had to reject flirting with Ameria? Also please don’t let Maria die, I want Jason to save her and help her off the streets and out of debt and into his bed

Think a little bit about ages. 16 is not too appropirate in adult games, so dev must have change it.

Ok new question, as I just finished the game to its current update. How often is this game updated? I'm enjoying the storyline and all the unique factors of this game and look forward to the next release.
I just downloaded the latest version of Jason (10.0a) and I get an icon in the upper left that says I need to update my save game. How do I do that? Obviously, it isn't by doing a new save. I clicked on the icon and got a blank screen, so don't know what to do with that. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Has the dev fixed the issue with save games? I quit playing at v0.8.1 because I was tired of having to start a new game every update.
Doesn't look like it. I loaded a save from the end of last update and went almost immediately to the "hope you enjoyed this update" screen (at the end of the "Christmas" scenes). I give up, too.
