I wish I could print this out and slap it across the keyboard of every new dev who posts a version 0.1 here. It’s not enough to just start churning out renders and dialogue with a story in mind - you have to think ahead how to scale content so it be can produced within a reasonable timeframe - and that means planning.One thing I find particularly annoying about Devs who make excellent renders, is they fixate on details and perfection and end up accomplishing less, for something nobody, unless they are looking for it, will notice. You're not making RDR2 here
BADIK is a quality game everyone enjoys and the guy does it alone, streamlining the process by not hyperfixating on perfect details. Yes he has a fortune, and lots of hardware but still. Perfectionism is proven to hinder creative output in the long term
