Man everybody, I'm sorry, I feel like I unintentionally derailed the thread. I'm surprised by the results not because I want to judge anyone's kinks, but because I didn't know how one-sided the audience is. I kinda thought this would be a universal feeling, that even if you are a straight male you'd like to see two beautiful people going at it. But apparently the literally majority of patrons of JOHN want to see the gorgeous female protagonist only have sex with old men, and specifically ugly ones. That's what stuns me because I never knew that was such a fetish.

It's just a little frustrating because it isn't just JOHN, it's hard to find games with attractive male characters. I feel like it's super rare and that 90% of the people here don't notice because it isn't up their alley. Maybe it's because I'm not into men and can't really judge, but the games I've played, where I'd consider the male MC attractive, are few and far between. That's not even just down to visuals, but lazy writing, too. Most of the time the MC is allowed to be the biggest dumbass, because, at the end of the day, these are all games by men for men and I suspect that hetero men only really care about male character, when they fulfill a specific fetish.

That doesn't matter anyways at all because this is literally a fictional porn game where the woman is supposed to fuck everyone not some kinda story driven novel with realism, so all that perspective bullcrap goes out the window immediately. Even then this games events are far more believable than any other in its category and furthermore have you ever played anything made by a female creator? Most of it is gay stuff and what small amount of straight stuff they make is far more slutty than anything we have seen here.

In my opinion, I do really like that Jessica can have a very close relationship with the old men(Mr. Parker, The Mayor, etc...) or young guys (Tommy, etc...), and make it happen in the future version. I think it's just similar with "Anna-exciting-affection" from DeepSleep, the MC (Anna) have sex with guys with different style, like old, young, black, fat..., even if I know these two game are very different story.
JOHN is one of my favorite adult games, and I look forward to the new version.

Been trying to think of AVN's with female MC's and attractive male characters. There really aren't many where I'd be like; "This dude's getting laid!". JOHN and AWAM are pretty much the only ones I could think of. I'm a straight guy myself, but I could see Connor and the neighbor (forgot his name) to be of interest for the ladies. JOHN actually has quite a few, well, compared to basically every other VN I've played atleast, but I'm bad with names.

I'd personally prefer content with people of Jessica's age aswell, but so far the hottest scenes or most daring situations are pretty much reserved for Mr. Parker and the Mayor. I mean, there are some really nice scenes with Connor&Co aswell, but they are mostly rather basic or vanilla compared to the others. I'm really hoping for more content at the newspaper and other locations in the next update instead of Mr.Parker and the Mayor.

In fairness, Connor is a pretty good looking guy and the hot tub scene in the last update was great and very refreshing. The downside is that Connor is despised by most players. While that doesn't necessarily take away from my enjoyment, it can be less enjoyable to talk about scenes with boyfriends (in any game, not just JOHN) because most players avoid that content or only play it as a secondary option.

Still though, JOHN does it better than almost anyone else.

I think the story till now has also affected the poll results. Jessica has the most scenes with the old men in story so I think people want to watch more of them. Even I am excited to see what's gonna happen when Jessica meets Mr. Parker or the mayor but I would also like to see Jessica relationship with Duncan or the black guy who helped her with some information I don't remember his name

On the surface games like AEA and The Office seem like they have a lot in common with JOHN. But it shouldn't take very long to see that AEA and The Office are very different structurally. John is, IMO, one of the best, most well balanced, games on the market today. There's enough sex to keep (most) people happy, enough plot to keep people interested, and enough discretion from the dev to hold it all together. The Office gets weaker the more you play it, and AEA feels like a game that was ground breaking three years ago but hasn't kept pace and shouldn't be compared to a game like JOHN. I can see why people like both, but they aren't really good alternatives to JOHN.

A bit late to the party on this post

AEA and The Office are very similar in the following:
- Instant sluts and sexual gratification
- NTR happened very quickly and often Anna & Gail dont give two fucks about their bfs
- No ' real ' meaningful choices on the character development.

To be fair though, both have above average renders (Perception?) & there is clearly a market for the above as there are many other female protag games with the same plot. AEA had a awesome run in the beginning but after a couple of years, every update is basically Anna fucking with Male 1 , 2 ,25 etc. This probably still works for many others but it doesn't excite me anymore like in the past. While v2 seems to make some attempt in meaning choices, only time will tell if its just smoke screen

The office started off rather weird with Gail being XXXX while trying to maintain lovely / innocence with bf while still also simply lusting for every dick. It is definitely heading straight to slut fest

JOHN - Yes , we all agree we love Jessica, the renders & script writing are amazing. But being a 2018 game where Jessica still has not had penetration apart from Connor after all these years and still keeping us captivated / frustrated.
