Nope, nada, nothing. More than an year of no news, afaik. Things might be different for people following the Dev's patreon, but no idea.

I think there is the usual mess in the OP downloads (I've seen that in many games here). On Patreon the game is called always Jessica's Life: The Beginning, latest version is currently 1.1 (December 2022). Here there is a "Prequel" called The Beginning (version 0.5), and the ordinary game labelled "Chapter 1" (no version given). LaRay777 could you please clarify what are the correct names? Is there a prequel?
