This good, i hope in future you make more genre about Chinese drama, maybe you can't create character from donghua.
It actually deviates even before ending...
Is this really the final version?
I mean accept with being informed MC has almost no interaction with his first wife who's name was Wu before the version 1.0.
This might be close to the source since she was presented as pious, faithful and good hearted person and was among the few people who had a good ending... But on the other hand not long after MC "marries" a girl her actions are "completed" ... at least at this version or so far or won't there be a continuation?
For a very beautiful woman Jin Lian also known as gold lotus is at least in my ranking rather among the less beautiful ones...
But I really appreciate the idea and also the artwork in general.
It would also be nice to have a some similar artwork in a Japanese style either something like the Genji Monogatary as let's say background of an adapted story like Shogun... I mean I'd like to see Van's with more traditional historical clothings ...

***GALLERY MOD Jin Ping Mei / 金瓶梅***
I really like the fact the game is an adaptation of a classic literary work but the gameplay has too much busywork and waiting for relatively minor payoff. So I made a gallery to just get to the good stuff
There are 2 versions of the mod. One is for the English game and one for the Chinese game.
The Chinese one will have the character names in Chinese but the mod UI will be in English.
The English game has a bug where it will crash on displaying the player name in certain scenes. I included the fixes in the attached ppreffixab.zip for scenes in the gallery. Extract and copy ppreffixab.rpyc to the game directory.

For the replays the player name is Ximen Qing / 西門慶 respectively

The opened door icon on the top right exits to town when you are in the living room (the place with your wife's name and names of other concubines of yours).
That said, I don't think you need to head out (all the women had been taken as concubines at more favor than needed for content) other than replenish your pharmacy in the save I posted
