Oh wow, good catch! That's a bug where if you decide not to pursue the date with Kira, the messages still get sent at night where they shouldn't. I will fix that asap for v2. Many thanks for reporting that!

CheekyCapybara Overall not bad, not perfect, could enhance the story more, could clean up story a bit and maybe some other stuff, not sure what, but hope you do a good job there. I just hope it devlops well and the LI's romance too. Other thoughts below in spoiler just in case not to spoil anything, but won't really talk about anything story related, just other thoughts on other things. Also one continuty error in there at end.
Not sure if I missed anything, just a lot of rambling and stuff on the top of my head. Hopefully you take some of my thoughts to heart on some things. But yeah hope the story devlops well along with the relationships, and I will definitely keep a eye out. Keep up the good work.

Actually, I wanted to ask why I have to go on a date with Kira even though I've rejected all her requests. But I've already seen here in the thread that others have noticed this too and that it's being fixed.
At least it shows me that I'm not the only one who doesn't like characters like that.
I just hope that Kira is an isolated case and not the foundation for portraying every woman in the game as a silicone doll from now on, and that the Dev doesn't succumb to the bimbofication virus of the Patreon community like so many other games.
So far, the game makes a solid impression, and I often sit there and admire how incredibly detailed the skin is in some areas (for example, the inside of a hand, veins on the foot, and the skin around the ankle, etc.). I always wonder if it's still rendered or a mixture of AI and Photoshop; it just looks too real.
At least it shows me that I'm not the only one who doesn't like characters like that.

That being said I think Alexis is simply beautiful and Denise is a cutie!
According to Mr. Cheeky's latest public comment, Lana and Erika models are being updated and rendered right now and that a new version should release by the end of the week or early next week. I was so focused on Alexis and Kira that I never explored the dialogue options with Lana as I just saw her as some caring, well-mannered lady. It'll be nice to go back and explore more opportunities to flirt with her after the update (assuming I have any physical interest)...

interesting game so far. from 700+ played this will be one in top10 probably.
only thing that is making me mad is soundtrack of main_theme (had to unpack whole audio file so i can copy it to mobile). the more i listen to it the more is familiar (currently must be 6th hour on loop). no sound library can't identify it so i suspect its possibly AI merge of multiple song. If im wrong pls give me title and end my misery

Rejoice, the devs have listened to everyone's feedback and instead of just plowing through to the next chapter, went back and changed many things according to some of the feedback!
We're so excited today to release the 2nd Update of our 1st Episode of Journey: Rebirth.
After launching 10 days ago, we were stoked about the great reception and feedback we've got about the game. Even though we had already started writing and rendering for Episode 2, some of the comments we received showed a lack of appreciation for 2 characters in the game: Lana and Erika. Since they play such a pivotal role in the game, we have taken the decision to find new models for them and re-render the scenes they appeared in in Episode 1.
Today we are happy to announce that after a week-long marathon, we are ready to unveil the new characters for both Lana and Erika!

- Reworked 280 renders to include new Erika and Lana models. Including splash screen, menus, Snapstr posts and icons, and phone wallpapers
- Added the Rollback and History quick menu buttons
- Fixed a plot hole around how the MC was able to pay for Denise's dinner date
- Fixed text around mugging scene in prologue
- Added date during next morning transitions to help players keep track of timeline in game.
- Fixed an issue where Jazzy avatar would show on the Kelsey message exchange.
- Fixed a bug where Kira would still send a message even if MC turns her down.
- Added ability to change mouse cursors on Settings page
- Changed menu click sound.

Since the thread isn't updated, and it is posted I think as a public release on Patreon I think Mr. Cheeky wouldn't mind me posting the download links here for now until he or someone updates the main page to the slight rework of chapter 2.
