im rooth
dear DEV if you are reading this, please considere the following:
first i must say,
View attachment 736656

i love this character. and how is not just for show, and how all of the secondary characters actualy do something on the story.

but im making this post just to make some suggestions:

the fighting needs some polish and variety
they are severals scenes where the character have a fight moment "on screen" with his stats and life bar (mostly with his friends)
and there are moments where he fight "off screen" with other characters (ex: neo) why not make it a fight moment too?
it would be cool to fight next to neo again mobs and stuff.

the other thing is, please netotare jaune. i mean at first i was like, man i hope i can steal phyrra from him is an idiot, and then i remember that he was cool and need more time, AND THEN he screw up again and i said fuck it, lets netotare this idiot, i know that this game is mostly a happy game, he kinda deserve it, so think about it.

one last thing, i think you maybe you want to see this

is a parody abridge
im rooting for you i hope you get far btw

I seem to have encountered a glitch with day 66.

If I watch the Crowe scene on Main Street the actual story scene for the night gets skipped leaving me with no context for the events of the following day.

I know. Problem is, it's not exactly easy programming a fighting system in Renpy. It's getting a complete overhaul for the Unity port.

Dunno if I can post links but here. If the author doesn't mind of course.

Don't mind at all lol

That's actually a very good catch. Thanks!

Also don't netotare Jaune for the love of the unknown. Jaune gets enough of that bullshit in fanfiction there's no reason to bring it here.

To be honest, I don't see this as NTR. I wouldn't even call it NTR if canon Pyrrha ended up with someone else. I mean, Jaune is played as inhumanly dense, he only really got the hint when she stuffed him in a rocket locker and ran to get herself killed by the porn parody evil witch.
You make him miss a chance he isn't even aware of, nothing more. The MC actually tries to get them together, just as a cherry on top.

I was responding to a "request" by somebody the dev quoted. It's different if Jaune just doesn't like any of the girls "that way" in the story. But somebody specifically requested Jaune be NTRed, at which point I requested that NOT happen.

Yeah NTR would be wrong in a game like this.
MAYBE just Maybe Make NTRing Jaune and ending up with Pyrrha optional
you know,so people that want Pyrrha can have Pyrrha and people that want to help them get together they can get them together

I'm gonna repeat myself.

It's cool if the MC gets with Pyrrha. But there's zero reason to drag Jaune down like that. The game already uses the "let's make fun of Jaune" trope too much for my liking, but that's at least in the name of some form of comedy.

I agree completely. The show itself went far too hard on the dense protagonist stereotype with Jaune. But honestly, that contributed to the charm of the early seasons. EVERYONE was a shameless, over the top trope, it was almost a parody, really. For the life of me I can't quite tell you what sucked me into RWBY back then, because I usually hate every single component of it, but in this one in a milion coincidence, the thing just worked.
That said, most of the characters are exactly at the pain/cringe threshold, so going any further does not do anyone any favors.
And the later seasons kinda lost whatever demonic magic that kept the first ones going strong, partially due to that, I believe. Again, can't quite tell when it lost me. Season 5 ish, I think, I remember thinking along the lines of "this is season 3 but so much worse". Been a while, but the first seasons still hold a special place in my heart.

Honestly for me it was the lack of anything happening in Season 4 until the final two episodes decided to shove everything relevant in the span of only forty minutes.

Same for Season 5 but it just felt worse somehow.

Add to the fact that they've thrown so many good characters to the side or to the grave in favor of newer and less interesting ones, abandoned character elements and plot points for the sake of rushing along too many stuff, and just the in general stereotypical anime style the story has taken on in the last two volumes and I just couldn't finish Season 7, even if seeing Penny alive and well was magical.

Woahwoahwoah I knew I forgot to say something: NO ONE is getting NTRed here. Jauney boy doesn't deserve that kind of stuff because of something the writers did. O_O
Nah I figured. I just wanted to shoot the idea down immediately once somebody brought it up.

And I wasn't arguing in favor, the opposite in fact. Also, I wanted to make clear that the MC does not "steal" Pyrrha from Jaune at all.

Yeah, season 4 wasn't great, but I was still pretty forgiving after season three. My biggest actual grievance in the later seasons is the constant rubber banding of character development. Blake and Cinder being the obvious worst offenders there.
BUT: The Yang/Blake romance thing seemed really forced, considering they both used to appreciate the male form quite a lot, Oscar is a really wasted character, the less said about Neo the better. I realize that characterization for a mute character with the limitations of RT's animation capabilities is hard, but come on. I'll stop there, not because I ran out of gripes, but because I prefer to remain positive about the 'verse. It spawned a lot of great art, 'fics and now games, and I appreciate that a lot. Amazing universe, sympathetic characters but shit story development would be my one sentence review of RWBY.

Yup. And anyway, we've already filled the NTR quota in someone else's route, no need to do it to Jaune too. :3
