Meinos Kaen Just want to say great game I enjoyed it so much I ran over to patreon and subscribed for a month (on a tight budget sorry). This game gives me the same feeling that old rpg maker game rwby vale of darkness, I love the idea of playing as an oc thrust into the world of shows and games I enjoy.

I highly suggest using this guide for the game routes, it's not updated to the latest version but still cover most missable content.
(Ruby/Qrow Weiss/Winter Yang/Raven routes mostly since you can only do one of the 3 past 3rd event in one playthrought)
And is quite easy for the eyes probably best "guide" i've seen for this type of games i've ever used.

Also Meinos Kaen i've played the game quite a lot this week wich was a surprise to me since i wasn't even that big of a RWBY fan in the first place (only watched 2 seasons a long time ago) but the writing and overall passion from the devs could be felt while playing, i'm definitely checking your next game and i'll pass by patreon once i get paid next month.
Thanks, man. I started this on a complete whim myself because of how much I liked the character of Penny and was so disappointed with what they did with her in Volume 3... Then I was lucky enough to have people willing to support me and to find long-term collaborators with which I'm still working with to this day.

wow I'm kinda surprised how well designed this game is, especially penny's character model quality which i think even better than the real one lol.

i still keep encountering this weird glitch for the final howard fight is anyone else getting it to where when bet him it suddenly resets you back to when you fight him a secod time which ends up going to the next day and you miss out of the ruby faith scene and a lot of missing dailog and oh before i forget i finally made it to whats accounts to a please wait for next update ending and i will say this i bet i'm going to end up hating flynt in the next update also and please tell me if you agree with this but won't it be interesting if in the next updates fight the mc in a fit of anger against flynt that he somehow unlocks his inspiration of penny's semblance and senza.fili.exe temporarily takes over his body and being giving to main objectives which would be 1. Defeat enemy 2. don't allow penny to cry probably not going to happen but i would like to see what would happen if that was the case and also i'll like to see a badass cyborg apparence on our mc with the metal plate covering his left eye while it combines and uses the other semblances with the right eye if it were the case if they can add something like that to there next update i know they can because it would be similar to the time when he first used evelyn/bob semblance .
P.S before i forget again i notice another glitch in the tournament fight with dew that the mc's model randomly appears with a suit.

So, for those wondering about the bug with the Howard fight, I don't know exactly why it triggers the way it does, but the scene is likely bugged because you have cheated/inflated your character's stats. I had the same issue, but after looking at the scripts I realized it was a fight you were not supposed to win. You simply need to survive a few rounds, not sure if you even need to injure howard. Point is, lower you atk value and exchange blows for a bit and things will play out as normal. So yeah, it doesn't seem like a bug you get normally, just if you kill Howard despite the fact that you're not supposed to be able to.
Also, just checked out the SoF 3.15 version, solid work on the Winter scene Meinos Kaen. The Lewds are definitely improving. Also the new outfit selection system is way better than the old one, so kudos on that as well.

I dare-say, it's actually even BETTER than the show in a lot of ways. The author really got into the heads of a lot of the core-cast of the original show, and fleshed them out in ways that the show itself has yet to realize. The OG characters are also really great, though, I feel like they aren't getting nearly enough of a spot light as of DAY 30, would love to see more of them, especially more Penny (even though she's not an OG character, I feel like she's basically more of a character than she ever was in the actual show).
My only big complaint right now is the 2-event day-night cycle, and the seeming sparse amount of content between routes. I got to the "close" stage with Ruby around day 15, and now more than 15 days later, still no sign of the next part of that path. Also, I'm not sure if it's because I did a lot of training in the Gym, but I feel like the character is stupid OP right now. I literally heal more passively between turns than most enemies seem to be able to muster, Kirito-style. Yes, I've basically become Kirito. I also have not yet really discovered the reason why there is a close range attack and long-range attack. I've yet to be faced with any situations where one was more preferrable to the other. The dust also seems a bit too expensive to have much use. I can't really justify using it in anything other than a boss fight, because it would require farming the part-time jobs multiple days in a row. I feel like you should maybe randomly get some dust while doing that part time job. Right now, the combat overall seems to need a lot of work, it's just a chore now.

you are right about the ruby route that it takes a while but thats manly because her route his more or less tied to the main story and to answer your question about the close and long range keep in mind that this is the world of RWBY were most weapons are also guns and you will also find that certain characters like may can only do long ranged damage or certain ememys take more damage by long range instead of close range but i also agree that is game is badass.

did that also i restarted my game again the third time finally got it to work but maybe you should like a note or warning saying "If you want lewds actived do it the moment you get the scroll if you do after a lewd event already happened then it won't work."You also have to use your Scroll/Phone and call a special number
Your scroll has a relationship thingy which shows an amount of hearts for how far along you are with a character.
Does someone know if the new version with the sprite changes work for old saves?
The scroll heart thingy is being reworked. As for the sprite changes, yes, you just need to go to meet Coco again in the Gym at night.

Hey, Meinos Kaen seeing as how you seem to be on gui and quality of life stuff, do you think it is possible to have some sort of indication when there are new events that can be triggered at the various locations? I get that you might be aiming for exploration and checking things out, but having to click through each area more or less each day to see if anything new has been unlocked started to grow stale after day 100 or so
Possibly having the circle light up when there is a new scene available? If you prefer to keep it hidden, maybe something for the New Game+ mode you mentioned on the blog?
