There's a modded version of Magical Girl Buster (Mia) that allows you to hide the UI in scenes, so for the Flash games it's definitely something that can be done.
Change the hair color a bit, and you might also pull of Hololive's Lui with this.
Okay, I'm trying to figure this out. How do you edit the game's colors? I've looked over the resources, but not sure what I need or how to use them, since I have zero experience with this, and not sure if I need some program for it beforehand. Downloaded the Flash Colorizer files, but not sure how to open/use them.

If you have the flash colorizer program you need to open FlashColorizerGUI.bat in the bin folder. From there you will need to open up the swf file from within the program. You can figure out the rest. Beware that if you're new to this stuff and want to be meticulous (Like I am) it will take some time to recolor a full game. Good luck!
Yeah, it's been done before. The amount of modding that can be done for the Flash based games is practically endless if you're proficient with Flash's scripting language 「Actionscript」 and programming generally. JPEXS' Flash Decompiler helps lots with this if you're interested in tweaking some stuff yourself.

What is this, a recolor renaissance? That's going to take a lot of work I assume but there's a lot of promise here. Hats off to whoever made that.

Tease people enough with recolors and eventually they will fight for their faps, its all going according to keikaku.
And let me tell you, we have TEASED the masses to unglodly degree, and now we're beginning to see the fruits of that labor.
The power of horny is quite potential source of inspiration, all it needs a tiny spark to lit the flames of desire.
I personally can't wait to see more recolours surfacing over time, to see people bringing their favorite characters into the scene.

Okay, so, maybe I'm just stupid, but Magical Girl Buster Reinforcements isn't being translated no matter what I do. Tried searching the thread and (I may have missed it to be honest I did not search my hardest) I couldn't find any solution. Already made sure that it isn't a file path character length limit or anything, and I'm fairly sure it's not a faulty install, so... anyone got any clues? Using BepInEx 5.4.21 x64 and the latest version of XUnity Auto Translator.

Well, that's the problem... You're using 64bit Bepinex, on a game that's 32bit, of course it doesn't work.
Ah yes, you see, this is why I added the part about me being stupid. Gotta make sure to cover all my bases.
(though, to be fair, it's admittedly pretty rare for me to see any 32bit games)
