What's the avatar creator for? I was under the impression we could create an avatar to use for the main character. Is it just a thing to do for fun?

I was trying to get a bad ending (after I got the same good ending in a row) and I was so bad that I am locked outof the main quest lmao day 90 and nothing happened bc everyone hates me haha

Elliot hasn't posted anything on the patreon since like December 2023. Has anyone been in contact them after the Steam release? I ask because I assumed they wanted to do something else, make more art, or at least give an update.
