Me the same. The "click area" doesnt match to the buttons. Its tricky but hover around with your mouse and u find the area to click on.

In seriousness. That does not take long. The path was blocked to get more slutty. Will check the update if that changed.
You seem not to sell your self very well. I admit, the last time i played was the early version. And then it was not hard at all. So i have to play this version and see if it the same.
