Hmm. Some total shots in the dark:
- Is your system 32-bit or Windows 7? Renpy recently dropped support for both IIRC, and your working games might be using older versions
- Maybe try updating your graphics drivers
- Is the game folder on a path that contains weird (non-English) characters?
- Is it in Program files or Program Files (x86)?
Other then that I've got nothing, sorry. Maybe look up troubleshooting for Ren'Py games in general, since Juno's Task is basically just straight scripting and doesn't do anything wonky code-wise that should cause a crash.
I have either windows 10 or 13 what ever is more recent but not the latest version. Its also 64-bit.
No
No I have it in an external hard drive but that hasn't caused any problems with any of the other games I have downloaded before.
See that's the thing is it doesn't even crash. No error message, no missing files message, doesn't open and say there is a problem and then close again. When I double click to open the game, task manager shows that there is activity but the game just never starts up.
So when I click the application within the game folder after unziping it. Task manager says that it starts Juno 5.1 program task but right after it gets replaced with a com surrogate before it all just stops. Happens every single time. Just to be clear that is base game, that isn't even with the walkthrough mod installed.
