Game Update
Hi Folks
I have a few KaiserinReich updates.
I will be releasing KaiserinReich
V. 0.53975 to Patrons in the slave tier and above today.
This release has taken much longer than I had hoped and anticipated in part because of events happening in my life over the last month (all good stuff but time consuming) and also because there's a lot to this release.
KaiserineReich v. 0.53975 is part one of the Opium Den releases and the new material focuses on the entrance to the Opium Den and a series of missions the character can perform for a man named Lee. A few places have undergone name changes in this release: Lin's Opium Den is now called the Phoenix Burning Opium Den and the Pillory Square Money Lender is now called Dragon Lady Loans. There are a few changes that set you up for your interactions with Lee which include:
More content for Belladonna and Gerhardt.
The drug Drive can now be used throughout the city as a way to boost will rather than just at the Holes.
There are two new characters developed in this release: Lee and Klaus. There are also several old characters that have new content in this release: Camarada Madelaine, Camarada Kayla Turner, Camarada Flora Maximum, Belladonna and Gerhardt.
This release involves activity at: The Phoenix Burning Opium Den, Slumtown Books, Camarada Madelaine's apartment suite and Belladonna's Studio Apartment.
In the next KaiserinReich release I will be finishing off your missions for Lee, introducing his nieces Jandi and Maja and developing the interior of the Opium Den and interactions in the Opium Den.
Besides the new game I've been grappling with some of the limitations of the game development tools I'm using.
Problem:
My vision for KaiserinReich is pretty huge, an open world game that encompasses four different cities. After over a year of work I'm maybe about halfway through one of four neighborhoods in one of those cities. It's already pretty big and getting slow and it's going to get a lot bigger. It's also going to take me a very long time to be anywhere close to completion. So, two things have come out of this one is I need the game to be able to operate faster as it gets bigger and the other is that I would like to create a game can be finished sooner. I jumped in to this project knowing absolutely nothing about programming or game creation and one mistake I made early on was choosing a story format that I now know can not handle a game the size that I have envisioned for KaiserinReich. To fix this I'm going to need to learn a new story format and rewrite everything I've done in the language that fits that format.
Solution:
Start a new game! Introducing: Chaste v. 0.1
So the solution I came up with is to write a second game to learn the new story format and to give you all a second femdom themed game to play that can be completed in a reasonable amount of time (I think I'll be able to finish it this year). When I've learned enough from working on Chaste I'll start the process of converting KaiserinReich over to the new format which should allow it to operate faster as it grows.
So, all that to say:
1. I'll continue to develop the KaiserinReich story and release updates.
2. I will also be developing the new game, Chaste, and releasing updates for that game solely to Patrons.
3. When I start the process of converting KaiserinReich over to the new story format I plan to continue to develop new content for that game concurrently.
I plan on releasing a very early beta version of Chaste v. 0.1 to Patrons in the Mistress Tier later today.

Can anyone share the latest version v0.53975 or the new game chaste which is developed as learning project?
Does Dashfire want to switch to a new proprietary story engine or one of the known engines like sugarcube, ren'py, etc. ?
Engines with built-in savegame-management and rollback are more enjoyable to play games. This game feels a little bit retro (80ies style?) ...
