Can you guys go kiss and make up in the DMs?
Thread has been derailed for the last two or three pages.

There's no "we" in this equation. Blame the ones who are trolling and refusing to state any facts to support their arguments and insults.

This game has potential, the gameplay is cool, but the cutscenes are really bad and the game is still very bugs. I know it's early, I'm just giving my opinion!

Is it just me or was the game amazing a year ago and now the graphics look off and everything seems worse + you cant even leave the castle onto the world map? what am i doing wrong?
We are setting up the DLSS, Lumen and other settings. We are investigating what's causing the resolution/blurriness in the graphics but it's most likely these fine tunings we are still working on will solve them.

The castle is being reworked into Unreal 5 as well. The thing about the old content is: The voice acting, animations, etc, is still there, the problem we faced is that we began working on the prologue to rewrite the back-end code. And as we did that, we realised that it would be better for the long-term to transition the game to Unreal 5. Better graphics and also better technology to help us speed up the process of level design and improve upon animations.

Problem is: The transition broke a lot of things and we are fixing the plane as it flies. We have people rewriting the base-code as we speak, and once that is done, many of the issues people had regarding optimizations so far will be solved for good. And despite these steps backwards we had to take, we already have most of the story written and several scripts waiting for the moment that the engine is ready for us to roll them in.

Apart from the new content we already wrote, remember, the voice acting, animations and other assets from before are still there. Once the map is ready to receive them, they can be re-added quite fast.

Also, as we have part of the team focused on polishing the code and reworking things to be integrated smoothly in the current build, we have never stopped to create new content that is there, right on the edge and ready to be rolled into the game once we are over the technical barrier. Such as this imp!

We are pushing progress forward in a daily basis, if you play our legacy content you can for sure tell that once you reached the Open Wolrd, everything was falling apart due to optimizations. We had to make a choice to do better for the long-run. And now that we are getting closer to it, our first priority is to bring back the old content, both prologue and legacy quests, as fast as we can so once we open the game to early access next year, you have plenty of content to explore.

We released another SFW update on yesterday!

Also, we have reached our 20k wishlists milestone goal!!
So after we are done bringing back the old content and wrapping up the code-refactoring, a decoration system will join the Queue of new features we'll implement!

Even the demo is not accessible here (Germany). Seems I have to quit then, sorry.

(this year even my Steam account is older than 21 years :D Sorry, but in this case the combination of Steam, Germany and the EU just sucks.)

I'm sorry to hear that!
Hopefully, when the game gets to full release, we'll be able to add it in other stores that don't have these restrictions

Oh.. Game will use Lumen (Global Illumination and Reflections)? That thing literally killing performance, and it's way worse than SSGI or Nvidia's Ray Tracing in some games. To name a few that gets obliterated by Lumen, confirmed: Remnant II, Nightingale, Lords of the Fallen (2023), Immortals of Aveum. Maybe it will run good for people at 1080p, but anything over 2k, it's really a nasty experience.

The Video options literally don't work, nothing changes. Everything looks muddy and out of focus. Tried all low, tried all high, everything. Even resetting to default, which just reset the sounds and blasted my eardrums with music.
