So Veronica is lying for the sake of lying, and apparently, the smartest woman in the world doesn't know how tape recorders work. I stand corrected.Well, here's direct confirmation from Tess. So we can consider this matter closed. Veronica didn't deafen the slaves.

I would venture to guess that Tess hinting at why Veronica deceived her mother might have something to do with Yvette is a key figure in the underground revolutionary movement/organization. But Tess wasn't ready to talk about that at the time, as it would have been a major spoiler. So Veronica is lying for the sake of lying, and apparently, the smartest woman in the world doesn't know how tape recorders work. I stand corrected.
Thanks Stan.Mistress Tess - Today at 1:03PM (from Discord)
I will be releasing just the normal Test Version to the $15 tier shortly. (within the hour from this post) (as I said on Patreon, I really really wanted to get that tier something very very soon.) I have not added the changes I have already done after Test as that seems to be the vote right now and it would take a lot to compile it for new versions, etc. I am almost done with the sub scene and Anais has basically almost finished everything I have asked for and I'm editing and incorporating it on my side. My last big scene as I talked about is a dinner scene which is difficult because it has a lot of nice clothes and likely 10+ characters which even taxes a 4090. So building that scene...I am attaching some random work product from things after the Test Version. Some are just normal scenes, but a few might be from the outro or Anais stuff, etc. Still will try and get everything done ASAP!
I'm just adding I feel for anyone that knows anyone in L.A. that is being impacted by the fires. I have family there near the Brentwood area that are being warned to evacuate, etc. So just sending positive thoughts to anyone else that may know somebody impacted. After the Maui fires (which also impacted family of mine), I'm starting to want to build a future house with this in mind (fire danger) a lot.

Jesus Christ... I don´t mind a little golden shower but that thing... The smell... And all the germs...So I have a big problem with this update - the piss tank. Time to unleash my inner autist I guess.
By my estimations it's roughly equivalent to 2x2x2 meters, that's 8 cubic metres or 8000 litres of piss. Assuming a grown woman can produce 2 litres of piss a day if she drinks enough water, it would take 100 women 40 days to fill up the tank. I don't think we have even 10 women who would do that though, unless they employ nameless slaves in the thousands. Maybe Veronica created a synthesized piss just for this occasion, why not? It would probably taste like Mountain Dew, so us gamers won't even see the difference. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Am I serious with this? Fuck no! It's a shitpost, or pisspost I should say.
Don Sucio, I don't know how things are going for the guys playing Sub, but for Doms even the test version of pt2 turned out great..(imo) But it probably makes sense for you to wait a bit until the final version is released and see for yourself.Jesus Christ... I don´t mind a little golden shower but that thing... The smell... And all the germs...
I haven´t played the new chapter yet but i have less desire to try it now than before
Alright ladies and gentlemen: Further to the conversation started here...
So we now have 8 Chapter Screens...6 new masks from the last time this was discussed (though some of those could be a replacement for some lost assets by Tess). We shall see. Some interesting theories going back over the convo when I was on my hiatus...so have been doing more research on this...much more...
So...masks per episode:

Using my Timeline and taking all the chapter cards into consideration (and their placement):

Let's see what we can conjure:
Ep.2: Callista, Main overarching central character essential to the plot. (also main game theme image of Tess too). Seth is iontroduced and while not a central character, he seems to be central to the overall plot. Kiyomi (not introduced yet as per Tess' commentary of one mask that partially or in whole represents someone not formally introduced in the game yet), is watching over him.
Ep.3: Placement of the masks does mostly match up with the major events of this episode.
Ep.4: Placement mostly matches....Jules & Dom still apart, Elena over Olivia with Alessa and Veronica either side. Kiyomi watching over Seth with wildcard Katsumi off to their side.
Ep.5: An interesting one. Dom & Jules meet to discuss the threat of Olivia (Masks together)...Red Tips meets with the Gambit Queen, Elena inbetween Olivia and Kane (they both meet Elena privately this episode). Kiyomi again watching over Seth. Jester mask in the eye of the Red Queen though...hmm...just don't see the connection...
Ep.6: Three new masks. We also have the introduction of the DeKcoks, Cole himself and Astrid Karlsson...Olivia central in the Chapter Card with relevent characters around her. Most of this fits or can be made to fit chapter events. Mostly.
Ep.7: Two new masks this time, the three new from Ep.6 also return. 16 masks on this Chapter card. For the first time, Veronica and Alessa are split, Kane and Olivia either side of Veronica. Jules & Dom are next to Olivia and Alessa splits Seth/Kiyomi for their fist time being split also (makes sense). Elena is once again between Olivia and Callista with a new mask now between Kane and Callista (Cynthia perhaps) and a new mask below and off to the right of Veronica near Olivia. Could this be Astrid's mask???
Which leaves us here:

Now:
For Ep.2:
If Seth is the 'not formally introduced Character'...then Orange shadows can't be Kiyomi....
If Red Queen is the not formally introuduced character...that still throws doubt on Orange Shadow...
Or...if Kiyomi is the not formally introduced character...is Red Queen just there as 1. Main game image and/or 2. Callista being the over-arching central main character of the story? (Seth is introduced in Ep.2)
Other thoughts:
Both Nadia & Cole could fit a few of these....
- Katsumi as Jester/Joker often fits...but Ep.5 Chapter card makes zero sense....or does it?
- New mask for Ep.7 between Kane and Callista....phantom & Feathers mask off to the left of this new mask..between Kane and Callista with butterfly from Ep.6 far to the left instead of near Olivia
- Ep.6: New faces, Cole, DeKock family members & Otto
- Ep.7: New faces are Pod W2 and Astrid & Cole confirmed Kanes father
- Feathers: Symbolizes trust, honor, strength, wisdom, power, and freedom. It is an object that is deeply revered and a sign of high honor
- Butterfly: In some cultures, butterflies symbolise rebirth.
- Phantom Mask: Symbolizes his vulnerability and the injustice he suffers from (from Phantom Opera)
- Bird Mask: A symbol of death and disease… However, they were misunderstood; they were harbingers of new beginnings
Sooo....thoughts on Cole, Cynthia...Otto maybe? Is Delilah going to be a significant enough character to warrant a mask? Coming back around to Ep.5 Chapter card...possible Katsumi mask behind/in the eyes of Callista, the game show is referenced first in Chapter 5 here:
Code:p "Nice to meet you Hyori, and good luck with your application." scene e5fashplan10 with mediumdissolve hyori "Thank you! I'm applying to help out with entertainment planning for a game show here, so I'm really hoping I can get the job!" p "(Game show?) Good luck to you."
Now, as Tess stated: 3) A mask (or more than one mask on screen) is not always an exact 1 to 1 representation of a character (mostly it makes sense it would be though), perhaps it could represent something broader than one specific character.. could this perhaps be a reference to something broader, something largely out of Callista's hands and something she would not originally have known about...like the game show..??
I think it's 'death of the author' situation that we have here.I would venture to guess that Tess hinting at why Veronica deceived her mother might have something to do with Yvette is a key figure in the underground revolutionary movement/organization. But Tess wasn't ready to talk about that at the time, as it would have been a major spoiler.
I prefer to rely on the word of the developer, who wrote the entire story long before the game started...and not to breed fantasy just because you don't want to admit that, like Callista, Veronica turned out not to be the monster you so fervently believed she was.I think it's 'death of the author' situation that we have here.
So you're saying she like James P. Sullivan?I prefer to rely on the word of the developer, who wrote the entire story long before the game started...and not to breed fantasy just because you don't want to admit that, like Callista, Veronica turned out not to be the monster you so fervently believed she was.
The problem with the missing masks only happened in Episode 8 part 1, right? If it doesn't...well well well...more to unpack....expecially with the location of the masks. Once again (for the third time now), what I assume are Alessa's and V's masks are split...even furrther away than they have ever been before. Dom and Jules as always, still next to each other (their alliance still in place perhaps?). As usual, Elena close to Olivia (I personally think one of the new masks previously was due to Tess losing them, as you can see, she has not lost them 'again' now I have returned them to her lol.
The girl is just undeniably...perfect.This is all I have to say about the latest memo:

Chloe is basically fucked on any playthrough I remotely take seriously. Sometimes I do things I wouldn't normally do when looking for variant scenes but I'm positive I've picked Angelica to manage the pod every time. I don't think I've ever groped Chloe at the mines either when given the choice. The girl is just undeniably...perfect.
Only time I've done anything to increase Chloe's levels are on my evil Dominique runs...for reasons. Angelica wins hands down every other time that it's not even close.Chloe is basically fucked on any playthrough I remotely take seriously. Until we know more about her, she really feels like Kane with Callista to me. She's in a bad situation and seems smart enough to make the best of it to improve her standing.
I have a similar problem with Mia/Desdemona. I like Mia's body but so far Desdemona has been more fun.
So you're saying she like James P. Sullivan?

That could be a fun game actually...which Monsters, Inc. characters correspond to KG characters lol...Jules as Randall? Rofl...
Probably something like that happened. With this chapter and its reveals it makes even less sense but I reckon we'll have to go with Tess on this one.I think it's 'death of the author' situation that we have here.

I used to do Chloe all the time since I liked having my own mini Juliette working for me, but realizing that giving her any points is a legitimate waste of time made me abandon any further storyline with her.Chloe is basically fucked on any playthrough I remotely take seriously. Hmmm yessss....I wonder....who invented all this shit that sadistic people use in the facility....purely designed to cause pain and suffering (to the victim at least)...like the green liquid Delilah uses on Zach in the pool....couldn't be V could it?Probably something like that happened. With this chapter and its reveals it makes even less sense but I reckon we'll have to go with tests on this one.
That being said, she still does nazi doctor shit to patients for no other reason than to figure out how to torture them. For example, she aged up a poor slave and sexually enticed him to test one of her products. So you could probably call her cruel for that.
Yeah only a waste if not doing a Dominique run.I used to do Chloe all the time since I liked having my own mini Juliette working for me, but realizing that giving her any points is a legitimate waste of time made me abandon any further storyline with her.
