I can't see how it will (as aside from one instance that I can recall right now, it hasn't mattered really all that much so far), however, I cannot see it being completely useless either. Tess adds all these variables and flags for a reason, even if we have forgotten about them and they were updates ago. Exactly how they may become useful remains to be seen, though perhaps they may come into play (you can get three sponsors currently depending on path) at the next evaluation...will we hit K10 or go straight to M1? (which is possible btw, but will require a very specific set of flags/points to happen I believe).

Own faction, I don't think so. We will just influence whoever we side with and remember, depending on your save, Kane can be top of the pile with his chosen LI under him. I think that will be very end-game but who knows, it may come earlier and then perhaps we can influence others....however, I refer you back to the screenshot above.
In general, I agree. As for Katsumi...despite her formal submission to Juliette, I'm pretty sure she'd betray her at the snap of her fingers if/when Olivia wanted her to.

BTW, I missed this Tess's post, thanks Mav for sharing it...Well, now we have a chance to fuck Elena in bed with our little "sis"...Ofc, they won't be kissing and touching each other, but they will definitely throw hot jealous glances at each other if our KaneDom gets too involved with one of them. Well, we'll have to improvise. ;)(*sound of a juicy slap on Elena's ass*)

Agree....Jules has already lost her given she has always been Elena's bitch more than Jules'.

Was in Patreon chat, relevent to JP's line of thinking/questioning so thought would show it.

Edit: To add to this, Yvette will always side with her daughter's, so another char that cannot be influenced. That leaves us with how many factions will there be exactly and will Dom/Jules maintain their temporary alliance or not? I am aware of another character that would seemingly be logical to place but know she can switch (on the SubPath) but not sure if actually set in stone so will not say yet...so, still more insane amounts of branching to try and keep track of in the future.

Has the dev given any insight as to whether Dominque is different depending on whether she has good points or not.Playing through different paths in the Dom route, if you don't pass her test, it seems like she's still a closet super sadist but just doesn't share it with the MC, but there's a conversation between Astrid and Yvette in the revolution route that uses her points to have Yvette indicate that she's nicer than people might think and might be willing to help.

It's the "Game # 1"

In the final version of pt2 (KG), Tess will add a separate scene to introduce this game from Anais to the general public. The game has not been created yet, so no one knows any timeline.

And in general, use a search on the thread. It's a handy and powerful tool that allows you to find almost any post.
Thanks for the info

Also....Q&A updated. Some interesting info regarding Dominique and other romance arcs.
Sub side eating good! literally :sneaky: characters Like Juliette, Doctor Chastain having a weird type ofRomance” with sub Kane and other characters as well! Obviously they can have slave/servant variation routes as well if conditions for weird romances not met but yeah!

I believe the same Amara stuff happens whether or not you pass her test. Passing her test is basically her showing her true stuff to Kane, if not she'll remain the same conflicted character that gave Veronica pause in supporting her.
This is proved in 0.8 Part 2. Amara being Dominique's captive to keep Kwame in line is cannon. On this, I also presume that Dominique never letting Kwame become anything more than her servant (Amara is just a dangling carrot)...is also a cannon plot.

On a related note, I was reminded of an old anecdote that reflects a lot of things that happen on some routes in KG... It's just a joke, so no offense intended.

I've rearranged the characters a bit, and have one named "SSKane" and the other named "Alessa with a strapon".

SSKane: Alessa, what's a "nuance"?

Alessa: - Take your pants off, Kane, I'll show you.

Kane is a little perplexed but takes off his pants. Alessa walks up behind him, shoves her thick dildo in his ass and explains:

"Watch this, Kane. "You've got a dick in the ass, and I've got a dick in the ass...". But!
There's one nuance!:KEK: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:;)
Very funny, although this dialogue is impossible :LUL:.

A little spoiler for a scene from Season 1 (can't remember which Episode) with Kane suffering in K4.

I'm very lazy about these things, but I have to apply Sancho's fix to my three saves to get them ready for the final version.

It was something unexpected, but I don't think I'll ever install a mod again, so I'm not dependent on it being updated or not. Or only use it in a finished game :WeSmart:.

I'll also tell you that I didn't dare use URM on this game for fear of corrupting my many hours of saves, but I am learning by using it on other shorter and simpler games.

This is the only VN I used a mod for, unlikely I'll bother with Steely's and yes, URM is such a wonderful tool, for fixing a devs bad code if nothing else.

I liked it so much that I ended up installing SanchoMod on other games like Thirty Days, Chasing Sunsets, Summer Scent, etc., so you can imagine the fixes that await me :ROFLMAO:.

I never had a bad experience with URM. It runs "on top" of Ren'Py watching what's going on. Only problem that's somewhat frequent is when devs mess with reserved variables... Sometimes devs want to be "innovative" with their coding and we can't see shit of what's going on, but that's uncommon.
One thing I do, when memorizing variables, is renaming them from their cryptic title to an explanation of their meaning. The new title stays only in the .urm file and the original code remains untouched. Very useful to remind me of that important decision on chapter X tagged chXpt1X2etc3!
