Corporate Development Memo - 4th of January 2025

First of all, Happy New Year and 2025 to everyone!

I will list here where I am in terms of getting the Test Version to Final.

1) Corrections phase (basically done)

2) Animations/balancing points and flags (mostly done, about 70 percent adding animations last for this step)

3) One sub scene (have set up basic characters and wrote about half of the scene, so need to render it and write rest of it.)

I have written the setup scenes (rendered about 75 percent of these) before the final scene I want to do for this path.

5) Outro scene from me thanking people, etc. (DONE)

6) Intro slide card (DONE)

7) Anais intro about her game (DONE)

8) Preview scene from her setting/game with a KG character who survives and is a "woman out of time" so to speak. (WRITTEN/NOT RENDERED)

So if you kind of see everything above, you see my tasks for this week. I am hoping to release the Final Version next weekend. I wanted to get it out a little faster but honestly the holidays and family stuff (most have left now after the last few days) in town was quite busy, and the last sub/dom scene I want to add are a bit longer than prior updates from Test-->Final.

I am considering one thing for later today. (only 5 hour poll, curious to get feedback will particularly pay attention to 15 and up tiers)

I am considering releasing the Test Version to the $15 tier as is, or with a few changes added as described above. I personally don't think current Test players need to redownload it unless they want to see the outro and a bit of info on Anais' game. (but it's just an intro) There is a bit more dom content with the pics above, but it's not a huge amount and I personally think one can wait for everything being done.

But I'd like to do something for this specific tier personally. And the changes above (mostly the outro/Anais intro) would be reflected in this version...I'd recompile it for here.

So the poll is basically simple:

1) Release to 15 tier the same Test Version as I did to $20.

2) Release to 15 tier the minor updates on Test Version.

3) Just wait until Final is ready for now...

I really want to get back to work so trying to keep this short. But I will check this poll in five hours and see if I want to add in a new post to the $15 tier with either the same or tweaked (again, not a ton) version for this tier.

I sincerely hope everyone has a great 2025, and I am grinding hard this week to try and make my goal! Appreciate the patience and especially nice messages/feedback I have been getting from Test Version players. This is easily the most positive and engaged feedback I have gotten since starting this game.

At this point, the only half-sister that's been shown to truly, legitimately, irredeemably hate another is Juliette with Veronica. In any other case, I think it's less about love/hate and more about power. Because ultimately, any of these Karlsson bitches are more than willing to shed any half-sibling for power regardless of how much they like or dislike them.

Oh...Dominique and Juliette do not like each other. Been a while since the early episodes of them forming their 'temporary alliance' on Jules' yacht but make no mistake, they despise each other.

Unlikely but you never know.

yea only problem i have with urm is it doesn't play well with other mods but honestly there are few mods id choose over it.

URM works with literally everything as it doesn't conflict with anything. UCD is a lot more fussy yes...not URM though. Works with every mod.

In another quick run from scratch by customizing my save files, I stumble upon Junko and Dominique's dialog.

And the way Domi tries to hide not only her sadistic tendencies from the others, but even her good deeds despite threats, seems even cute...

I also remembered how Kane went through the survey while in prison...We can feel differently about Dominique, but you can't deny that it was her solutions to some of the problems from that survey that looked the most human.

And the same decision in the airplane, if KaneDom agreed to the kindest option, getting +3 Good points, is also directly related to meet with Dominique rather than, say, Veronica... The bottom line is that most players who were just taking the GoodDom route and trying to get better were more often than not the first to meet Domi...

So no matter who says what, to me she remains one of the most human of the Karlsson sisters, even while remaining in her inner conflict between wanting to do good and indulging her evil kinks that make her wet.

Dominique is definitely one of the most interesting sisters, and since Tess has given the Dom players a gift by giving us the exclusive opportunity to have a romance with her (good or evil), it would be a crime to turn it down...

So no matter who says what, to me she remains one of the most human of the Karlsson sisters, even while remaining in her inner conflict between wanting to do good and indulging her evil tendencies that make her wet...

This is where V falls apart. She is barely human and in her own way, far more cruel and inhumane than even say Jules. V is just pure, raw and unadulterated analytical, logical and efficient.

Cruel...evil...good...do not even really register on her rader...they are not things she even cionsiders, just the most efficient matter of dealing with something, if that ends up being crual and sadistic then so be it, the end result is all that matters.

After our dear Olivia, Dominique is easily the best sister (and really, some ways ahead for me).

Dominique is definitely one of the most interesting sisters, and since Tess has given the Dom players a gift by giving us the exclusive opportunity to have a romance with her (good or evil), it would be a crime to turn it down.

I'm reminded of the fact she purposely deafened all of her slaves (at least the ones near her offices) so they can't overhear sensitive information. Even Elena and Yvette were somewhat shocked by it.

This is not an action I can see Dominique taking on either alignment, it doesn't fit her style. It's also not a Juliette type action, though she would probably laugh at it. It's 100% V's style and she probably doesn't even see it as anything but efficient.

Apparently you have been inattentively following the thread. Tess disproved that misconception a long time ago. V didn't actually deafen the slaves...

I'll leave a few last points but I'm probably not back for a long while to finish this update and other stuff.

I think the next update it will be clear with at least one person who does/does not know about Cole and how that might impact discussion about the Board membership. But might it be fair to say that if at least one Board member does not know Cole is alive, how could he "vote" as a Board member?

Alessandra is kind of a schemer by nature so I wouldn't assume any face value logic with her with everything she does other than that she might have no issues moving around to suit to her needs. (or biding her time to see who is winning)

Also keep in mind people can shift priorities if their knowledge/goals change over time. I know this is a bit nebulous, but just wanted to throw that out there.

Regarding a few other things:

My Patrons have always known how busy I am with other ventures. I've been very clear about that from the very start and have paused Patreon billing three times in the past based on my perception of right/wrong for value. I've never ever deceived anyone about the fact that Karlsson's Gambit for me is a side income stream that doesn't/never will take precedence over my main business and love which I do full-time before I get to KG work. I've also been clear with Patrons to never expect me to turn this into a full-time activity/job, there is simply no way a femdom game of this nature can ever be a financial equivalent to what else I do. I'm also ok with my overall pace -- updates are long but they are pretty big. I don't feel like a bimonthly update of say 500 renders (which is slower than my normal pace I do more than 250 renders a month) is all that useful for getting into the story that well. I have considered a dom/sub split update for a bit of improved speed, but I'm not sure how well that work with Patrons with the side having to wait longer breathing fire on me, hehe.

I will be clear about the piracy issue once and for all -- it's fine to do what you want, I wanted to make clear that a specific poster named Dover is a bad actor that has nothing to do with leaks. He is not a hero because of his character, not because of any leaks he has done or will do. I will not consider any third party leaker a bad actor in that sense. As a PSA, I would still encourage people to make sure at the end they save with a Final Version save even if they play the Test first. (I am telling Patrons the same thing.)

I did leave F95 with what I think were fairly legitimate harassment concerns. The final straw for me was a barrage of messages from someone claiming they would kill themselves if I didn't do X. I think it's fair of me to consider that "crazy" a bit. I've had it much worse on Discord -- particularly with a very specific Chinese guy (who foolishly has given me his real name in a document he sent me which I did not ask for btw) who I genuinely felt sorry for because he was honestly the most sad human being I have met in kind of a "good" (good meaning a combination of background/finances/educational prospects) position in life...I felt great pity for him and really wanted to help him...until the harassment started. But I can't really close down my Discord, so I just have people help me out, etc. I still feel bad for this person to be honest, but I shouldn't have to deal with this either.

I also admit I'm not always a humble person and part of that is how people treat me in day to day life. KG is the one thing that does keep me humble, as it has not come easy for me to do like most things I have tried. But I love the creative process and it helps me in other ways outside of this game...so I keep plugging away.

Regarding the err ears? It's not option 3. There is only one logical reason Elena may have been told this to me? (maybe a minor second one) And would V be willing to deceive her own mother and if so, why?

I have greatly enjoyed reading this thread, it's been a lot of fun! It is unfortunate that I haven't always felt comfortable here, but that has not been the case with anyone posting here recently. (even the critical ones, that is not harassment just opinions)

I 100% agree with all you've both said. Also, don't sell Veronica short on the moments Kane pierces her soul. Her memories of their childhood meeting. The tender moments when she shows Kane her greatest achievement. Her character, for me, begins a long walk back to humanity with the (her) armor shattering rescue of Nurse Reyes. Still, while there are aspects of Veronica I like, Dominique is the more complex and interesting character for me - as you both have pointed out.

Tess answered my question there as well, which I had asked a little earlier, but the first time Tess answered too veiledly, although it was already clear that not everything was so simple with V and her allegedly deaf slaves..

Then I jokingly complained that Tess confused us even more with her answer, and in this post (which I quoted) she gave a clearer and more detailed answer, saying that V didn't do it...But it wouldn't have been Tess if she had given a "one word - yes or no" answer - she also gave us food for thought by answering in such a way that we would try to understand and guess for ourselves why Veronica didn't deaf the slaves and why she needed to make it appear that she did..

By my estimations it's roughly equivalent to 2x2x2 meters, that's 8 cubic metres or 8000 litres of piss. Assuming a grown woman can produce 2 litres of piss a day if she drinks enough water, it would take 100 women 40 days to fill up the tank. I don't think we have even 10 women who would do that though, unless they employ nameless slaves in the thousands. Maybe Veronica created a synthesized piss just for this occasion, why not? It would probably taste like Mountain Dew, so us gamers won't even see the difference.
