Yea, I've never been to the discord, but when you posted that comment from her a few pages back it caught me off guard that she was under the impression that people hadn't noticed it.

It's always good to be open to constructive criticism... It's too often a tendency to fall into the trap of trying to satisfy the needy sycophant. They can never be satisfied. That's why it's a mistake to try. The creative process demands a return to the original vision from time to time if only for the sake of balance...This ^^
She slightly annoys me at times with her disingenious remarks and insulting people's intelligence (regarding her general playerbase) going on about 'how few' people caught this, or noticed that blah blah subtletly/hints/nuances...I'm pretty sure (or would like to at least think) most catch them, many of us here certainly catch them and we discuss them (sometimes a little too obsessively lol) and there's little point in Discord as for all its popularity (as a VN), the server is rather dead at times (Tess said that most 'subs' tend to contact her directly on patreon after a recent conversation was brought up regarding the server demographic). I really do sometimes wonder if she actually truly does understand her overall, general playerbase.
We just don't constantly bombard the dev with questions/platitudes and sucking up (either by DM or in Discord). While I do at times talk to Tess privately, it's usually to confirm/ask something/have her check something for me and only when neccessary (or when for the second time, giving her back all her lost mask images). I would never personally dream of DM'ing a dev and saying, really great scene with x and y...I caught this/that/the other (or worse, as you mention, demanding something). The dev ain't my/your friend...if I feel the need to say something like that I'll do it here and tag them or on their server, not DM them.

I stayed on v8.1 and my Dom Kane refused to participate in the Kitty game, so I don't remember seeing her dressed like that
.Yes folks, I only have three saves, a good/hero/Paladin of Light Kane on K8 with the show rejected, neutral Kane on K6 where I stayed on episode 7 and still haven't exported the save
and Kane on K4 where I played to the last part of the labyrinth on v8.1.I'm looking forward to adding a fourth save with the SS path as Alessa seems to be fun.

Is all good PL...I also have this save. This Kane will never progress past K10 (Olivia romance) and I have another which will stay in the M ranks (also Olivia romance). I'm curious how the story plays out if Kane gets some limited success but can't actually help anyone as he doesn't have the status/rank/power.

Of course, everyone decides for themselves..But I would sincerely advise you not to give up on the show.. At least if you liked the K8 route, you'll definitely like what you'll see being K9 and kissing Olivia in the final scene of 0.8.1. Honestly, I don't know why Mav thinks Kane turning down the show can't get above K10 either...I don't think Tess wrote anything like that directly. (but maybe I don't know something). As for the fact that your paladin Kane can be spoiled by some evil decision...Well at least so far it has not happened...I have a paladin of light K9 (not my main save), who has a romance with Junko and is on the path of Revolution...And I have no problem for his moral purity went through the whole 0.8.2, having a lot of fun..
