Not sure if it is intentional but Tess wrote him as kind of lazy haven't you noticed how he's always sleeping in and doing basically only what's required of him? I think the cannon was the sub path and the dom path was less organic as it's not her thing for the male mc. I'm not complaining just stating my opinion. yeah but he's pretty lazy you have to admit and there are some traits missing imo. Like most A type personalities for the most part wake up early, live a very scheduled and disciplined life, and generally are in pretty good shape physically. Sleeping late and being woke up by someone else is kinda high school kid stuff. Kane suffers from the usual problem of a character that has to pull double duty as dom and sub. He's reasonably tall with a big dick to conform to dominant stereotypes, but his build is scrawny and soft to make him work as a sub. And his face is just dorky as all get-out, which doesn't work for anyone.
Obviously in real life people can be dominant or submissive regardless of what their bodies look like, these are just stereotypes, but it becomes a little ridiculous when all the women on the dom path are constantly gushing about what a hot, strong hunk of delicious man candy he supposedly is.

Not a patron so my opinion doesn't matter, but that may have been what I initially hoped for. By now, however, Olivia has become too erratic to be trusted in a near-equal relationship with anyone; numerous examples in the thread already but just to add one, in the latest update she hands Seth off to Kiyomi to abuse for the lulz no matter if you previously decided she'd stick her neck out to protect him, with only a minor dialogue variation to account for it.

I understand what you are writing about and agree with your thoughts on Kane's character traits. I suppose subconsciously Tess was creating the kind of Kane she might like personally. If you dig a little deeper and read this post by Tess, everything falls into place.
Speaking of which, there was another post from Tess somewhere where she wrote that she has an equal romantic relationship with a strong man in RL and she likes the kind of strong-willed and determined, whereas her personal male "slaves" in her bedroom in RL are definitely not. So we have Kane as Tess sees him sexually from the perspective of the Alessandra she invented, with whom she personifies herself in the game.
In my good playthrough it happend too. There she trained him to tough him up and help him regenerate faster and because she sees in him a guy with the mind of a hero which she did not believe she would ever see.
On good path her reason is by making him used to it he could get mental fortitude and help her making a more humane world.
Personally I am unsure so far about the romantic path with Alessandra. So far her words and actions do not really sum up for me as romantic relationship. This equation would only work if I put in the factor that Alessandra is actually a Tsundere and that she test him by having to go through with the shit so if he does not really feel for her he would stop it.
If this is not then the math would actually give me that she either is crazy and see it more like Drow where the best you can get is her seeing you like a pet or that just like her friend you are only a cuck that get sweet whispers to find out he has been played cause he is so guillable.

The partner/significant other/whatever label applies here introduced this last update along with the character version of Tess would fit that description with how they both treated Zach.

Yeah, I hope so too. And I won't be upset at all (on the contrary) if Kane Dom clearly dominates Olivia. However, I would like to go back to what you said about Olivia's fickleness. I'd like to see at least 1-2 examples of this, because in the Dom track, if, say, playing the Good Dom, Olivia behaves quite consistently and expects the same from Kane (to stick to moral and human decisions).
