Please remind me what the 1st vote was about. If I'm not confused, you posted the interim results of the vote (not too long ago), which was about choosing the best friend for training the W2 pod girls for the Kane dom route and Olivia was definitely in it (1st place by the number of votes), here I don't see Olivia at all. (but it is possible that I misunderstood the essence of the vote, the description was not too transparent to me)

Olivia is the best possible assistant for Kane (dom), I agree with the results 100%. Raven is certainly good, as is Melanie from Fashion Business Desdemona or the other girls, but Olivia is too sweet fruit that the Dom players still can't pluck.Tess is left with a simple question to ask her patrons - "do you want an equal (at least) sexual relationship between Kane (Dom) and Olivia?", and now we know exactly what the result of that poll will be, he-he).

I believe something is wrong with these "officially" compressed files. I'm not sure who compressed them but I'm getting inundated with folks that say the mod doesn't work with the compressed version. DoverUK25 or anyone else can shed some light on the origin of this "official" compressed so that I can collaborate with them to see what's broken. It's likely a packaging issue as that's what many newer folks that attempt compressing games mess up. I can all but guarantee that this "official compressed" wasn't even checked by the dev team as it likely has nothing but loose scripts in it and not the proper archived scripts (RPA extensions).

As far as I know the mod works dandy on uncompressed as that's where I got the v0.7b scripts from (please confirm DoverUK25).

I understand that bud... I'm not calling anyone out.. yet, and certainly not you. What I think might be the issue here is the dev team had some third-party compress it for them but the dev team didn't check it. I think (still needs to be confirmed) that the compressed is not retail packaged correctly and borked. It's a quality control issue from the little info I've gathered so far from folks in the mod's thread. This whole v0.7 release has been jinxed tbh. I'm slowly DLing the "official" compressed myself in case I can get it before anyone replies and can verify. If my hunch is correct then someone needs to whisper in Tess's ear as the quality control of a retail product is slipping very fast with this release... but again, I don't want to get ahead of myself here. I'm a man of innocent until proven guilty and that only via actual evidence.

But my hunches are generally spot on. Thanks for the reply, we'll all know soon enough and can start sorting this little mess out yet again.

Confirmed. The "official" compressed version is not retail packaged. The dev team likely has no idea (I all but guarantee it) they pushed out an inferior product listing. Whoever compressed the VN fucked up.

Cirelc DoverUK25 SonsOLiberty Please make note of this... someway or another all or a few of us will likely be involved in some facet going forward so it bears monitoring. Someone needs to tell the dev team that whoever they commissioned to perform this duty failed and it needs to be resolved for public consumption. That's my take but it's not my call.

Note: To be very clear - This mod update is installable in either v0.7a (making it v0.7b) or directly in v0.7b

Changlelog:

• Incorporated the dev's fix (which I feel I recommended in the post linked above) for save exports.
• Incorporated the latest grammatical and male MC naming bug fixes from the dev team.
• Minor aesthetic tweaks as I felt necessary.

Please enjoy. Mod core is updated to the latest v7b with even more features. I hope you find at least one feature beneficial to your experience. For folks using the current "official" compressed version of the VN (as of the date and time of this post), please see expanded installation instructions found in the mod's thread post here. I will remove those instructions once the dev team gets their shit together with whoever did that compression.

If Season 2 starts off on this rough road as well with lack of quality control and proper testing procedures, then we're all in for one hell of a ride of wasted time and bandwidth. Yes, I'm frustrated. I've personally come to expect a better retail product from this team than what has been v0.7's release from the start. It's like buying a brand new car only to have it keep getting recalls.

I'll grab a cup of coffee and settle down. Apologies for the mini-rant but I really want this VN to succeed and be an example for others. We have simply jumped off the tracks a bit lately. Let's get this house in order, shall we?

Basic gameplan a lot of this week:
1) I am building up Episode 8 shell/structure and a short new intro with new renders (to explain loading 7 saves but also directly brand new players about Episodes 1-7)
2) Episode 7 walkthrough (always hard for me so usually have a little help here to make sure I don't spoil 8 stuff because for me it's all in my head already)
3) Asset hunting and outlining basic structure of Episode 8 (I use index cards to build scenes after some basic overall structure, aiming for 1500ish renders)
4) Looking at Steam applicability, creating account (I don't have one yet) and researching.
5) Poll ideas
6) Start hopefully the first two scenes of Episode 8 (writing/rendering a bit) if I can get to it, these two scenes were going to be in 7 possibly, but I decided to save them.

No bud, it's not your limited expertise... it's because SonsOLiberty knows how to properly package a compressed VN, but that version is pre-v0.7a so it won't work... you need either v0.7a or v0.7b for SanchoMod. I automatically convert any proper v0.7a to v0.7b within the mod so they are identical. That's the summary. It's not you, you are just using a "test" version of v0.7

A true gentleman and a scholar... or at the very least a pretty good dude. Thanks bud. We'll all help her get this mess finally cleaned up so we can properly move on to Season 2.

My only goal is to not have any of the playerbase lose trust in her product. She has proper support in some areas and not so much in others. She's a dom, it's about time she starts cracking that fucking whip.

Yeah, I noticed that too. But, this scene made me thing this poor guy needs some time in the gym. All that lower K-level stress has turned him to jello. Now that he's upper K levels let's get him some workout time and some biceps, pecs and abs!

Not sure if it is intentional but Tess wrote him as kind of lazy haven't you noticed how he's always sleeping in and doing basically only what's required of him? I think the cannon was the sub path and the dom path was less organic as it's not her thing for the male mc. I'm not complaining just stating my opinion. It's either that or there is reason she's written him this way... only time will tell.
