I think it's more a matter of the Karlsson Group being so incredibly wealthy/powerful that they can spend what anyone else would consider a king's ransom in resources to cure a potential new toy of a fatal degenerative disease on the possibility he may be important enough to Kane and/or Olivia to have an effect on the succession gambit. It also gives Veronica's research division the ability to demonstrate its research chops beyond new and improved sex toys in a way that's directly relevant to the MC's family. Finally it underscores Dominique's point that there is much good that the organization could do to improve the world were it under better leadership, while also simultaneously underscoring the more predatory desires of several of its other board members in the way he's lied to, imprisoned against his will, emotionally preyed upon, and objectified.

thats a good explenation but im looking for a porn game is this other stuff really necesary ? it just seems edgy for edgys sake but you do make a good point

It has something called a story with a character driven plot that many porn games lack. So it's probably more erotica than porn. Your complaint seems to boil down to the story elements getting in the way of the porn. Some of us OTOH like a bit of story with the sex.

The sister is in charge of the program the MC is in so she is technically his boss.

She isn't dominant to him in a sexual way, there is no incest. It's not the devs fault you can't see beyond sister fucking.

Some people have a need to make every game for them even if it very clearly isn't.

Go to any thread with a fetish some people won't like, gay, lesbian, NTR, hotwifing, femdom, female protag etc...

You will always see at least a handful of people asking for entirely different content or for content to be changed to suit them. For instant female protag games have a LOT of people demanding the dev either change it to male or add a male protag. Femdom gets a lot of people asking for ways to reverse to maledom. Lesbian gets a LOT of people asking for straight content. NTR gets a shit ton of people raging against it and the dev.

If a game doesn't have incest then you get a ton of people demanding incest.

If you are a dev and you try and cater to a specific kink or group you will always find people trying to change that or get things added to suit them.

Some people can't take no for an answer and can't seem to be able to just move along.

Sadly a lot of devs cave in and give in to their demands which makes it harder for devs that don't as those people then expect it from all of them.

I will keep this brief and to the point.
Some messages/comments at me recently have crystallized a lot of things for me and with that in mind, I am just announcing a release date. I will have further announcements in the near future.

Please contact me directly here (not Discord) if you would like 0.5, but cannot maintain being a Patron next month. I will do the right thing for you.
I am sure I will be done with 0.5 before this date but this is the date I am using. So no one should expect anything before that date except as a surprise. This is also to squelch constant communication at me about this issue, so any questions specific to this issue will be ignored by me. It also allows maximum polish...just in case. It is absolutely not an exaggeration to say I am sometimes killing myself working 100+ hours a week with everything I do, so it's very disheartening if I have more stress than enjoyment dealing with this kind of thing.
I just wanted to tell a story that I wanted to create...everyone should know by now that I would almost assuredly do much better financially not doing this game. (given opportunity cost alone) So it's been a labor of love for me. I know I haven't been perfect with trying to do the game, but I've also tried to be honest and up front about everything too as I'm a Patron for multiple games and other types of sites (almost 20 overall personally, and about seven adult games), and have been on that side too, both good and bad. But maybe I need to learn some things too, and I'll try to be better.
I will also not be on Discord much as this is the main source of angst for me. I have always tried to be transparent and do my best, but I am seeing now that other devs that have warned me about certain things -- in the end, were correct.
I still appreciate and love almost everyone that has ever enjoyed the game, and I am working hard for you! :)

Sorry for the timeframe, and I can't speak for other devs and their time, but for me...best I can do given everything I do every day. I unfortunately don't have an easy work situation (in terms of time commitment) and I'm juggling five independent income streams in a sense too. I just try and communicate transparently with Patrons and hope they are ok with my sluggish speed at times.

I've always been very consistent also about incest and how it's defined to me if people read carefully. This is a relevant distinction in one possible path (but not required obviously). But the truly creepy element of even quasi-incest (older mother/father with younger son/daughter) to me is not really something I would ever write. This specific statement is also relevant to a specific and small path because it could block Kane from one character being a possible option if he makes a certain choice with another character.

Also, very easy to avoid all types of things in this game that don't agree with one's tastes. For example, for Olivia (sister character) she will have at least five real options for say relationships, and they will be mixed in different ways. (examples could be a choice for man/Olivia, 2 choices for woman/Olivia, and maybe a choice even for say woman/woman/Olivia and a last one for man/woman/Olivia) so she might have a lot of possible endings, including maybe a no relationship/solo ending where she just has lovers/slaves/servants/etc. I have a general idea, but have tweaked a tiny bit here and there as the narrative develops in front of me.
