I said those according to my thoughts towards them. Because, she always said that veronica is her best character with so many heroic plans, and Yvette reminds her of her own mother and Astrid is totally a anais game's Main LI. She gives value to the two characters and given them immortality powers.

But true, that cruel girl delilah also will be survived just because she is the real alter ego confirmed by anais. Although I never seen tess saying Alessandra is her alter ego.

You can play the game without a save from Season 1.
All 330+ variables taken from Season 1 are initialised with default values in the script before loading.
If loading fails due to a missing "Karlssons.gambit.s1" you get an error which can be ignored.
You will then proceed with default values which will usually give you the default dom events due to how branching is coded. All your rank variables are false, so you usually get the "else"/"elif True" branch.

Example : default -> e8kdomstart

...

label e8domstart:

        jump e8k9start

2. If you want to change default values, you can do the following :

Place the following file "initialisation.rpy" in folder "...\KarlssonsGambit-0.8.31TestB-pc\game".
(Right-click -> Save target as ...)
Use an editor like Notepad++ and edit the (default) values in lines 234 - 571
Rank variables are spread out since all variables are grouped per Episode when first used.
k9 is currently highest rank.
The custom names are last.

Important :
You have to start the game once to get the edited initialisation.rpy compiled to initialisation.rpyc.
Exit KarlssonsGambit.exe and start again so that your edited defaults are used.

Use Start, select "None" and ignore the following error.


If you later want to get rid of this "cheat" :
- delete the *.rpy and the respective *.rpyc file in the "\game" folder.
- delete/move all saves since these saves are likely "corrupt" since they probably do not represent a set of variable values obtained by a regular playthrough.

And Veronica becoming the so called "saviour" is canon no matter what path or decisions you take. Kane choices are useless for her ultimate fate. Your only choice is to join her (B), or co-exist (A&C), or let her go (evil factions). "The greatest immortal goddess". This kills all my thrill of this game for veronica.

Absolutly agree on this. I think Veroinca and Dominique are actually the worst of the sisters. Juliette and Alessandra are just fucking psychopaths that are seriously fucked in the head. Dominique actually understands what she's doing is wrong but still enjoys it. Veronica on the other hand is trying to justify everything with the greater good ... but if she is such a fucking genius as the game tells you all the time, she should have tried to find a better way.

I think its a big miss that there will be no ending in which Kane frees himself with help of the revolution and can go on a murder spree and gets to kill off all the fucked up bitches - including Veronica. Basically a let the world burn ending in which Kane can destroy all of Veronica's work and dooms the world, just because he has seen the worst of humanity and doesn't think it's worth saving.

I think my biggest criticism of the game is that it is very often just too evil to actually enjoy it as fapping material. But maybe thats just me

No. I can definitely say it's not just you.

But yes, there are more in doms that support the "good domination" compare to evil dom. In evil dom also, some dom players want to work alongside evil sisters and have evil romance instead of burning or over throwing them under his legs.

Most of the players who truly want to burn the karlssons (*Long Ranger) or atleast have them all under his legs (*Red Domination) have left this game already except players like me still hanging to it somehow.

*Note if you are not familiar: Long Ranger and Red Domination are cancelled endings.

As someone who's been "stuck" at the end of chapter 6 for like 2 years because the kinks and the nature of this VN is so hard to digest it almost makes me sick, all I want or care about is the complete obliteration of The Karlsson Group and anyone that's a part of it. At least everyone ranked K5 and above. I'd like to decimate The Cocks too eventually but the Karlsson's come first.

And the fastest way to do it is to kill Veronica. Then that disgusting bitch Calista and Olivia. Elena and Yvette are inconsequential and the other sister bitches would run the Group down into the dirt in a week with Veronica, Calista and Olivia out of the picture.

I remember hating most of these characters so much I used to fantasize about them getting the Clarence Darby "treatment" in Law Abiding Citizen

Most people here just go along with the sickening premise. Discussing how utterly evil, sinister or morally abhorrent the actions of most of the characters are doesn't come up nearly as much as I'd like it to.

I'm the one in the corner rooting for the asteroid to do this VN world a favor and wipe it from existence because there is nothing or anyone on there worth saving

Also it is just sooo hard to actually like at least some of the female characters because so many of them getting off on people dying of starvation or just accepting this because ... well fuck people.

What feels really strange, that if you are on dom path, good Olivia seems much better, simply because you are not involved with her that much. But the fact that you don't even get some kind of dommy mommy path with her feels off. I actually enjoy the writing for evil Olivia much more because then at least she feels as fucked up as Juliette and Alessandra. Not that I like evil Olivia, but at least she feels consitent.
