Imagine if this game was maledom rather than femdom focused. It would have been cancelled before it was even conceived of.
Exactly. Even Tess in her private chat with the game's patron (which has already been quoted here) admitted that gaming platforms like Steam and Patreon apply double standards to men...So yes, "Quod licet Iovi, non licet bovi"...And I consider it a miracle that games with pronounced maledom
(such as Desert Stalker) are still sold there.
Nevertheless, in KG
(I'm replaying the old content, and start the new 0.8.3 soon, but I don't think anything will change much there), we have the Dom route, and even if all the "domination" consists of is that
we are not slaves, but control the assertive and confident Kane, that's not bad either.
At the very least, this allows Dom players who do not accept any form of humiliation towards MC to enjoy this large-scale story, gradually changing the world and moving towards their goal of becoming the “King of the Mountain” — the Ruler of this hotbed of evil, while also deciding the fate of these sadistic bitches (within well-known limits), as well as helping (or not) those who are fighting for the survival of the rest of humanity.
