My understanding is that Alexander was a great man before "the change".Ouch.
He was likely the person who created the environment that allowed so many sadists to commit their acts of sadism.
Which brings me back to the question that I find me asking myself a lot. Who was the great man that Callista and Cole saw? I don't care if you're Mother Theresa, the moment that you threaten my kid is the moment that I never compliment/ speak well of you ever again.
That's one of the things I'm hoping to get out of the coming updates (what really happened and why). Was it before, or after, the terrible things his sisters did to him (and what were those things, actually?)
Or was it just a matter of "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely"?
Oh, hey sex with most of the women in KG would be incredible and I have a definite thing for sassy redheads so...I still have her leading because I get the feeling that sex with her will be mindblowing.
This seems to take a pessimisitc view on power in general. With the exception of maybe Astrid, every other female with even a little bit of power seems to either be corruptible or abuse their power.
But to allow yet another sadist to be a manager/exec for the Karlssons? Nah. Hard pass for me.
I have this weird "you need to be competent" thing about selecting leaders...
And I agree about the inference about people in power. I'v said for sometime that this game leaves one with the view that anyone anywhere with any authority is a sadistic a$$hole and it's just that in some cases we haven't seen their true colors yet.
I don't believe that but it's the viewpoint this game seems to foster.
