Also Olivia is not a full board executive yet and still a Z3 in this scene. This scenario was set up by the board to see what would happen. Even if Chanel is loyal to Olivia, it's risky omitting things to somebody who outranks Olivia if the board outright asks Chanel about details.

Board board board, who the fuck is planning these programs? All sisters behave like they have their own women with own ambitions and dont want anything to do with other sisters and creating factions like a open secret but somehow they are collectively planning these harsh kind of complex programs and keeping company in stable. Who trained these girls? What is the mystery? And will Kane ever get the chance to show middle finger to the Karlssons?

Now it seems olivia as z4 became like them instead of being helpful to kane by giving inside board information.

I would have expected to hear "Don't worry, I will do anything to save you brother". "I'll try what I can" Sounds more like a casual Friend.

And you didn't notice that, did you? Not to mention that Liv hugged Kane, burying her face in his shoulder, and these hugs do not seem like empty formalities? To me, that definitely doesn't look like just “friendly feelings.” And these words of hers, imo, mean a lot, showing both that Liv has remained the same good person and how dear Kane is to her.

That's true, but nevertheless, in this scene, Olivia (imo), revealed herself quite strongly. Perhaps if Chanel, who unquestioningly follows Elena, hadn't been there, we might not have seen even this display of Liv's feelings in public.

Olivia says he have heroic heart. That's true. I don't know whether Callista prepared him well to face Karlssons and gambit in the same way she trained Olivia. But, yes, he have (or had if you take evil) heroic sense in him (saving seth from goon), became a reason obviously to land him in jail lol.

In this game, the only route I didn't take was Juliet's because she's too evil. I even tried to follow her path and make some pragmatic choices, but it didn't work because I realized it would influence my character's good morality, so I gave up. Another path that's starting to surprise me is Alessandra's because it started as a normal path of female dominance, but as it progressed and I made certain choices, romance started to appear in that route. So much so that that redhead character whose name I forgot already realized that Alessandra is romantically interested in him. Well, I just want to see how many endings I'll be able to get while being good and still dominant. I think of the sisters, the only ending I won't get will be Juliet's because of my character's morality.

You will miss quite a few evil and/or sub endings.

To be fair, at that point, she knows that chanel is her cousin and she's free to say anything in front of her.

That being said, she's the warden, and there are likely recording devices there. If she's found to be favoring Kane more than she already does, it will probs be very bad for him.

Yep, that's exactly what I was hinting at when I wrote this
Perhaps if Chanel, who unquestioningly follows Elena, hadn't been there, we might not have seen even this display of Liv's feelings in public.

I suppose that even if Katsumi, who belongs to Elena and Liv, had been there instead of Chanel, we would definitely not have seen such displays of warmth and gratitude from Olivia in this scene.

As with all the paths in this game, you will see some unique scenes but miss out on other (sexual) events ...

This is a good dom path (probably best played with good Olivia, too).
(There is an alternative path for subs opened recently but it has less content and less background informations.)

You best start as a good dom K6.
Then on the plane do not have sex with Junko but go for a romantic relationship with her.
Aim for Dominique as first sponsor ... this will grant an early K7 promotion with privileges like a separate own room.
Be careful to not accidently close the Junko path. (Keep jromance / jromanceopen active.)
(In E6 department visits select Veronica before Dominique to save Maria.)
There will be exclusive events with Junko and in E7 Junko will introduce Kane to Otto and reveal the revolution.
In E8 Kane will get more specific infos how to help the revolution.

(Don't mix this path with other paths like Secret Sub path since Secret Sub has higher priority and will block Junko events.)

Am I the only one who gets errors whenever I try to load 0.82B final saves? I do not have any on the last screen where Tess tells us to save, but shouldn't saves from the last few scenes in the previous update also work? I already searched the thread but nobody seems to be talking about saves since 2024.

So, does nobody know how to troubleshoot this game? For the record, I went back to the 0.8.2 finalB version of the game, played all the way to the screen that tells you to save, saved there on 2 separate runs. copied those save files into 0.8.31 TestB's saves folder, and these also just give error messages without loading! Here is the traceback report ren'py gave me:

Did you consider that ren'py games have 2 save locations and that Tess did not change the name of the folder in AppData for the test? This may cause problems if you switch between different versions who all use the same AppData folder.

Save Locations :
1. in the game folder, eg ...\KarlssonsGambit-0.8.31TestB-pc\game\saves
2. in AppData :
path : C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Tess_is_wonderful

I actually renamed my v0.8.2b Tess_is_wonderful folder before playing the test version to not corrupt it.

The event to save Maria should be available to all subs (K2-K4) and should happen before getting demoted to K1pro at the end of E6.

Try clicking start instead of load. The playthrus from season 1 are persistent data files. You will end up playing some of season 2 over again, but it sounds like that may be your only option.
