As a Dom player, the current event is simply boring and pointless. The point system is absurd and illogical (variable: dgame). For Tess, this event only serves to further appease her supporters. Wasting almost four updates on it speaks volumes.

In my opinion, Tess is failing at the most crucial moment. This test version is a prime example. First, let's remove the scenes that are identical in both the sub-path and the Dom path. These scenes, which generally don't involve Kane, are, in my opinion, really good and the most interesting. Here, the story/backstory is told and the characters' scheming is showcased. However, if you move on to the remaining scenes, the actual paths, these are completely detached from the story and are... (I can't find the words to describe it). This makes one thing abundantly clear: The ratio of content/decisions from the Dom path to the Sub path is estimated to be at least 60% in favor of the Sub path.

I'm still waiting for the final version, but I don't expect any significant changes, especially in the Dom path!
Yes, all these variables are utterly nonsensical. Tess has turned the exploitation film style into something that now resembles the formulaic plots of soap opera which it's truly tedious

So it seems like Kyle storyline is gone now, which I am pretty sure is the Juliette sub romance. Sucks, was looking forward to seeing a different side of her on that side. :(
You will have a sub romance path with MC himself. So why to worry?

For dom fans, it's worse when it comes to Juliette fans after recent steps taken by Tess.

These recent reviews are absurd. I don't think this is a 5* game but it's definitely not 1 or 2* from any type of objective standpoint. Playing a game that you dislike the theme of is not cause for giving a poor review. Not that it means much on F95, but I've had objective reviews removed for 3* reviews that listed out system mechanics and describing a plot as "off topic" while I see all these 1* reviews that essentially scream "I hate the femdom dystopia setting that is clearly described and tagged for this game".

I also agree that some of the recent reviews are very unfair. I have my own issues with this game, but there are also many things I genuinely like about it. I still admire the story Tess created, and I definitely want to see where it all ends.
But...

These reviews are more recent. This game had many positive reviews before, and it still maintains an overall rating of 4 thanks to all the past work Tess has put into it. Past supporters knew what the game was about, but they still held out hope that the game could be more balanced for dom players — from shifting the femdom aspect to MC-dom, even allowing for extreme options in the future. Keeping that aside, most of the recent changes Tess made were geared toward pruning the dom paths.

After all, this is a sadistic “from slave to king” regime-style game with the possibility of overthrowing the system. You can’t expect everyone to stick to the “good dom” path and act as the “soft hero.” But anyway, most of the old players have left now, and there’s no one left in this thread to give new players any hope that things might change in the next update after their playthrough. Because right now, they don’t.

Anyway, Outside of this thread, I'm praising this game everywhere and doing my part to encourage them to atleast try it.

Nope this is supposed to be the MC/Juliette sub romance path. The one where we replace Kyle. That is gone now, all because I said one little comment in discord that she found nitpicky.

Cause I should be held "accountable" for a comment that wasn't any attack or really negative in anyway, but she attacked me, insulted me, now she is removing one of the biggest paths I care for.

Honestly sad about it, it was like one of my most looked to paths, just gone. I was so happy to eventually see a softer side to her, be treated better, see some romance from her, all just gone, never will happen now.

She's probably going to go ahead and ban me from discord soon, she already put me in timeout. Part of me wants to attack her or say something negative, its just not who I am, I will not be that kind of person. I never thought this day would come.

Just letdown about removal of Jules sub romance path. Wasted so much time helping her with errors(had some more ready to send), its just all gone and over now, cause of one comment.

I'm confused. She said she removed Juliette romance for dom path. And that's open and old news. She also said that, instead, she will plan "weird romance" path for subkane. Now, she removed that also?

Yep, all because one comment I made was too nitpicky and apparently pissed her off. So she remove that path cause I need to be held "accountable" for having an opinion.

I don't know if there is more about the story. If that is what happened, sorry for you and the other juli sub path fans.

I'm not much into sub paths. I only play k1 veronica path to see how the veronica & callista stories plays out without the kane in it (when he faces the ultimate death).

A lot of those bad reviews seem to be from players who went into the VN with wrong expectations or did not spent enough time with the rank system to figure out the dom path.

Some seem to misunderstand the tags. One review complained that anal sex is not an option in every dom sex scenes. (There are some dom sex scenes with anal sex as an option, but it's not an option in every scene.)
One complained that femdom/maledom has to be consensual with safeword ... the tag "femdom" covers both, consensual and nonconsensual femdom, especially if there is also the tag "slave".

It's a VN, not a sandbox or simulation, so choices can only have limited impact on the story. If players want to have full impact of their choices, there is a game called Real Life.

Imho : Even wrong reviews are kind of feedback so I would not delete them, just exclude them.
I think we miss a system to mark reviews that are based too much on personal likes/dislikes or wrong expectations as not relevant (with reason) so that they do not spoil the rating. If a game has a solid technical base like KG, fair ranks should start at 3 stars, even if a player does not like the kinks in the game ... especially games for niche groups have a hard time if everybody who does not share the niche kink can simply downvote a game with a dislike.

That's not true, choices we take are calculated fully with several flags. Tess is very efficient on this. The problem is, We don't even get choices like we expect and seems logical. Finally, It's tess story, she gives us choices according to mood swings and cut the paths whenever or however or wherever she wants.

Let us take example of evil dom (just now completed with k1mistress path because demon got pruned), Alessandra is revealing full story to Kane, I know Kane can't do shit because he is still k9 from past one season. But, atleast, I expected some inner dialogues from Kane like "I accept my reality that it is not my time, But I wont forget this Alessandra".

There is something else that is important here. This person slandered myself and Mav, using such nasty words that I don't even want to remember that crap...

And of course, in his posts, he didn't forget to mock the fact that we (Doms) were banned for our principal position in this refuge for people who love to stick their tongues deep into Tess's ass and desperately twist them around. (Yes, I'm talking about her Discord).

In the end, his crazy ravings and lies were deleted by the Mod, but the point is that we witnessed what smart people have long summed up in the saying, “Don't dig a hole for someone else, or you'll fall into it yourself.:coffee:

The guy thought that his nodding and agreeing with her would protect him from everything, but now he is convinced "on his own skin" that this insecure "dom"(lol) woman does not accept opinions, even those expressed politely and correctly, that differ from her ideas about anything.

So, this whole story is quite telling...Perhaps now her sub admirers will have more reason to think about how "important" their opinions and desires regarding one gaming route or another are to her. So yes, they can continue to laugh at what Dom players have lost, but if they find themselves in the same situation, their laughter will fade away.

Like I said, It's a cult. You will be fine as long as you say yes and agree with the cult leader. If he/she doubts on you or you raise question, then you will be discarded. She said Evil Dom Players expecting extreme fetishes is "cruel", "toxic masculinity", "Not a Real Man". But, what she is doing with sub paths? Absolute Sadistic Misandry.
