That's ironic. You want to know a strawman argument? Acting like people are saying Rem should receive no criticism or feedback when in reality they are saying Rem doesn't deserve overly negative feedback.Actually the worst type is: I hereby swear to defend this developer until my last breath. I will do whatever it takes to defend them even if it meant using strawman arguments to make sure they never ever get criticized for their stupid ideas.
Overly negative feedback may be based on a kernel of truth, but then the baby gets thrown out with the bathwater in a multiple potential ways. Maybe it is as simple as your potentially useful insight gets thrown out because your petulant attitude, or maybe Rem just gives up as a developer entirely.
It is important to keep things in context. This game is overwhelmingly a success. Are there things that can be improved? Of course. Will we agree with everything Rem does? Of course not. However, it is important to recognize the positive and the negative and not simply focus on the negative. Nobody is saying the game or Rem can't use feedback. I'll let you fill in the blanks about what that means they are saying.
